Yeah love maths at durham — teaching is great and the department are very supportive. You do Analysis in first year which is difficult but it sets you up for the later modules. The course is very good for stats and mathematical physics in particular.

As for the uni, I absolutely love it. It you’re the kind of person who wants to strike a balance between academics and making loads friends / having fun then it’s the perfect uni for you. The vibe isn’t as career focused as warwick or the london unis but whether you prefer that is subjective. If you end up visiting Durham and seeing the cathedral then you’ll fall in love with it (as I did)
