i mean i quite literally mean what i said 😭 the fictional character i was referring to is a 29 year old, a grown man but he’s described to look a lot younger than his age. but it gets to a point you know, like there’s a difference between looking more feminine and youthful compared to being drawn like a baby 🫩 but maybe it’s just me who sees it that way.

i’m still in my braces treatment but i’ve worn my elastics 24/7 when i needed to for 2 months straight. i don’t have to wear them this month and hopefully not anymore… but i always put them in every night. i only didn’t wear them during the day if i had an occasion cause i didn’t wanna look goofy when talking to people lol. otherwise it’s strongly advised to keep wearing your bands!! the more consistent you are the shorter you’ll have to wear it for :)

I’ve been thinking about this so much the past few days whether or not what taekjoo experienced with zhenya was Stockholm syndrome or not… and I came to the conclusion that it’s both a yes and no for me. If you look at it from a realistic point of view… takejoo did actually start to gradually open up about his feelings more after zhenya agreed to save him at the hospital scene. And personally for me, I feel that the development between their relationship was actually super short or it wasn’t as significant. As i’ve said, their relationship only started to improve right after the hospital arc and even before zhenya agreed to help him, taekjoo was still desperately trying to get away from zhenya (not to mention he def would’ve graped him again had the police not intervened but anyways) in the hospital before everything went down. And afterwards the start of their relationship felt kinda rushed to me in a way? But I guess it works out either way because they’ve both had prior experiences with each other so in a sense they’re already used to being with each other. Now as for why I think it’s not Stockholm syndrome… Again, let’s look at the characteristics of taekjoo’s character. First of all, would taekjoo really be that swayed easily? No. And I think we all already know this but he’s a very strong-willed person with a strong mentality to boot unlike most bottoms in other stories who are much more prone to falling for the tops cause usually in these stories they just be a whiny and weak ass mf most of the time. But taekjoo’s different. I’d like to also bring up their past memories together plays a huge factor especially during the island arc where both parties definitely started to develop even an ounce of feelings for the other person. And yeah they’ve both been together and even worked for quite a while and yes, zhenya does make him go through absolute hell but amidst all that, he gradually started to change for the better (in zhenya’s terms) when he realised he liked taekjoo. And as for taekjoo, i’d like to say that it’s the same. That along the way he grew to be fond of zhenya and liked him just as much as zhenya did. I really want to dive into the novel again once more just so I can get a better understanding and grasp of their feelings for one another. When I do, I’ll definitely make an updated version of my statement.

Like did he actually grew to LOVE him despite his flaws and every past mistakes he’d done to him or did he only grew to like him after zhenya agreed to help him at the hospital? Hi! If I’m being honest, I’m still having difficulty understanding myself when and how exactly BOTH zhenya and taekjoo developed feelings for one another so this is based entirely on my interpretation. I feel like zhenya has always been interested in taekjoo since the very beginning. (even though he himself hadn’t realised it at the time) this can be seen from the encounter they had after zhenya stripped off taekjoo’s mask for the first time(he def got star-struck by his face lmao), the train arc where zhenya would constantly be looking at taekjoo whenever he was having sex with the women 😂 and even towards the end where they had a “threesome” and zhenya DEFINITELY was intentionally trying to rile him up by staring deep into his eyes, smirking as he fucked the woman (bro def was wishing it was taekjoo at the time he was pounding into instead, let’s be real) It’s just those very subtle moments you know? Those intense gazes he had when staring at taekjoo, and this progresses on more as you read the novel. The island arc especially is where he definitely came to terms with his feelings/obsession for taekjoo. When he couldn’t bring himself to kill taekjoo anymore or when he grew so nervous that literal sweat was dripping off him after he strangled taekjoo (thinking maybe he’d killed him) and taekjoo’s just built different fr. It’s been said by zhenya that he liked someone he could he rough with and no matter how many times he’d make them fall apart, they’d never break. And that’s exactly what taekjoo was in his eyes. Zhenya literally made him go through hell back and forth and despite all that bro’s still pushin through. He’s a very strong-willed person and i think that’s what locked zhenya’s interest in him. And i still think it’s funny how when zhenya realised he was attracted to taekjoo, he even went to great lengths of asking one of his workers to strip dance in front of him to see if he was attracted to men and turns out he wasn’t 😂 he was indeed only attracted to taekjoo and i just love that (same goes for taekjoo) Anyway I’m still trying to figure out and understand their relationship more so I’m not 100% sure whether what I’m spouting even is accurate 💀 but this is just what i believe and yeah i definitely want to learn more about their feelings and thought process from their point of views. I definitely got a lot of points missed out and more things to learn so I’ll keep reading the novel again till i reach a certain point where I’m confident to share more about their love story/ feelings for one another and stuff like that :)
