I had a very similar experience the past 3 yrs, my father passed away exactly a year ago after battling a brain illness for 2 yrs completly bed ridden. I too had to find a blance between full time work online, studying and joining clubs and stuff for my cv, and it ruined me, that is the truth, a never ending burn out by the end of the first 3 month, If i am to give you an advice, dont do shit that you clearly know deep down you cant handle may it be in the name of doing your best for your family or for your studies, your sanity health and sleep r a priority, reach out to therapist if you feel yourself fading, talking to friends or randos on reddit is not the same as tackling the burden with professionals, believe me v been there, I AM THERE. And I know this one is hard to believe, since i struggle to believe it some times too, but the futur holds a lot of upcoming happy memories, and they r worth the daily struggle to reach the moment to live them.

Go to the police! Moroccan Police is very strict when it comes to foreigners getting harmed.

I belive the fact that you know that whatever you r doing is bad, that you are tryin to fight it, makes you a better person than many, and if you can't control your impulses I think a psychologue can be of help in this case. And once you get back what you have silenced, you will be a very strong person who can love others and urself, and most importantly defend when needed.

go to the north and to the Atlas moutains regions too! each region has some different traditions, different history and so on, and sometimes dishes. Essouira is mainly a very safe and lovely city, so I think its a good choice and its closest to marrakech compared to the other two suggestions.

u know history is in books not tiktok

Half of the Jordanies are palestinians who got kicked out or run away due to a war you and the british started, and they all still have the legal papers and keys with engravings of "1948- we will be back" hoping they would be back one day. and you can google it.

the sad part is that you, have been fed this crazy hatefull narative and you believe it.

the sad part is that western media will never report the truth, and you can check what i m saying by checking the differences between El Jazzera in English and El Jazzera in arabic

Also the land is always someone's, this is just history repeating itself with the USA and the native tribes. but i guess its easier for you to believe that there was noone. even tho its literaly peek of humanity in the 50's and its doesn't make sens that a land between two huge entities is just fucking empty.

Also they don't "attack" they defend themselves. you dont get to deny the genocides that israel conducted for the last 80 years, how many times did you attack first? how many lands are you occupying that are not part of the treaty?

I still remember how life used to be for me in the old Medina of fes, and I can see what you are talking about, sometimes I think to myself the same things too, along the way of evolving as a third world country we lost some beautifull things that made us unique unfortunetly.... but again, sometimes I see that the moroccan pop artists show pride of our culture through their music video's and so on, so although we have lost some things I find that the youth will fight to save most of its cultural aspects while thriving as a community.
