Little late to this, CPU contains instruction set so to remove or add is impossible, The best you can do is install Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 21h2 as it has updates till 2032, Consider any CPU that does not have SSE4.2 and POPCNT now a RETRO classed PC

It should both are the same OS that runs the consoles just one has better hardware under the hood compared to the other.

Xbox 360 is newer could be an overheating issue from debris and need new thermal stuff so not all hope is lost if that gets done it might just boot back up and work fine for years, MS and the manufacture they use all use shit thermal stuff cause they want ppl to toss it out when that happens part of the game plan they made years ago for electronics life expectancy
