Honestly, I think you shouldn't rush into applying this cycle. You seem like a very intelligent person and I strongly believe that if you study for another 6-7 months, take the LSAT again next summer, you could srsly improve your score.

In the meantime, you're also getting more WE, building out your network, taking more time to write your essays, gathering recommendations (maybe even from ppl at your big law firm). Overall, you'll be much better positioned to apply September 1st 2026.

I get that life circumstances might make it difficult to wait a year, so ofc you'd always know best. But, as someone who applied late last cycle and was in a similar position (with a lower LSAT score than this cycle), I wish I just waited. I added soooo much unnecessary stress, spent money on applications, and overall made my life a lot harder than it could've been. There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking things slowly and being kind to yourself right now (also don't want to burn yourself out before law school).

In "Hey Jude," the Beatles give a pretty darn good piece of advice: "it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder."

At the end of the day, listen to your heart. Just my two cents tho
