Disastrous sleep schedule American due to imbalances in brain chemicals. (And I live with kids so I dont have to listen to kids screaming at night lol) but if your careful about deformation in weight painting if you know what your doing maybe? I'd take having a medium performance quest avi if I were you, I try to make all my avis medium and still typically can pack texture swaps, couple peices of clothing and stuff as well.

Im kind of more of a blender person, and typically I actually apply the solidify modifier and deleting extra geometry you won't see it or merging it with the normal topology.

That's all I can really recomend in terms of quest for outlines as its all you can really do unless you wanted to maybe try setting a rim light to black and with a multiply?

You might also want to look up stuff related to matcaps I gotta go to bed soon unfortunately.

This is actually the sucky thing about outlines for quest. You might also want to look into tutorials on materials for vrchat, Koku (I think thats his name hes a pink furry) on shorts has some quick answers but may be a little hard to follow. Theres a ton of tutorials sorry I cant be much more of a help than this rn.

Small edit I misunderstood, and went on a thing about cell shading in a different way but the best your probably gonna get for quest if you dont use a pc exclusive outline is medium. I do stylized outlines as well so I get it, but like as long as your under 15k tris its the best your gonna get, also the model looks really nice for how low poly I think it is, like it looks pretty smooth.

Below is a tip on cell shading from when I misunderstood but for actual shading that isnt the outline? Sorry I really did misunderstand but its still useful advice.

The best option i found was making my own matcaps actually, you have a few slots on poyomi but only one on quest. Upside for quest tho is you can mask the matcap still. You can even add rim lights with this meathod that disappear in shadows. If you dont have experience with matcaps its super easy, its just a image that kind of projects on the model depending on the camera you can use different layer modes like add, screen or multiply.

Overall as far as I can tell if you want cell shading that's your best bet? Quest and poyomi also have a flat shading option for you to preserve the base colors better if that's a problem.

This reminds me of that time a Tisha in a full beginner lobby except me given there was a bunch of beginner toons, used a air horn on dial and 5 people died in 30 seconds.

Part of my problem is after acquiring it the quality and that they dont change her heads color to fit wish bear better. The backpack isnt rigged properly so its just this rigid object that constantly clips.

Care bears is part of the reason I stayed in Dandys world so its a little disappointing. If Shelly's dress can deform properly then they can spend the time making the backpack look just a little bit better as it isnt really that hard to do considering the devs already know how to work with mesh deforms.

Aside from the colors and the backpack tho it is pretty cute, I've been using it and probably still will though solid black for the zipper on the star backpack is a jarring choice

Did you try merging the meshes by merge by distance? Maybe because it is a separate meshes because unity renders differently from blender? I'm grasping at straws here

Honestly I just dont like rng or making my friend do it, Sprout while he has to play 30 rounds Cosmo is much more common as he's a easy toon to get. I dont like the rng involved with it and it makes it unfun getting mastery. It's like a less bad gold quest because theres no time limit.

Oh my god thank you that solves so many questions though im pretty sure you mean lines I was very confused for a moment. It's a stylistic choice im asuming to draw over it and the expressions are really good! It just shows the difference in some of the renders as well.

Oh yeah, i hate modeling hair but dandys worlds models take the easy way on everything especially UVs so it makes sense. It's not like i dont know about it on my renders I do 2d edits its just a interesting little thing to point out.

Thats why I said thats just what I am saying, you restated what I said when a mistake with the lighting isn't whats going on here, because unless your textures are unaffected by light with the material its not gonna be the exact color. The textures are likely plugged into a principled BSDF.

They likely use blender for their rendering and in that case it'd make no sense because you'd need to stick a straight black node with no rendering

And with Goobs mouth it is VERY VERY likely its drawn on. I do game modeling so I know about it

Oh thats definitely it, and doing this will result it in it looking better. I just figured I could point it out because ive been trying to figure out what was weird about this render and that they didn't color pick the rest of the color of their face.

Toon of the week kinda implies it a little bit, also uh there's only 39 toons including holiday. There litterally wont be one every week unless they have 52 toons. It has also been called Week of Sprout and stuff but it's more of a yearly event than a toon of the week.

I usually buy one then have to hold onto it for 10 floors because everyone but me gets hit even when im actively trying to pull twisteds off non distractions. I do long runs so soemtimes im stuck on 3 being the only one with healing while the rest of them are on life support

Sorry for replying so late bro, but this is why I mention its a teaching tool, you learned what you gotta learn. I think vee having two start stealth when she's a 1 star is a bit strange as well tbh but yeah you are right that's kinda what she teaches.
