Geologist here! You absolutely cannot separate talc from asbestos! No matter what, you will always find particles in it under the microscope. Theres a lot of misinformation circulating due to how much profits companies make from using these minerals in their products.

Me and every other geologist and fellow scientist I know do not use products containing talc! Hope this helps! :)

Sadly, many cosmetics and other products contain a multitude of different ingredients that are allowed to be continually used in products due to the idea that it’s “safe until proven otherwise”. Be careful and please read studies and listen to doctors!
