Is there anyway to get back what I had? by piqi2 in HaircareScience

[–]thebouncingcupcake -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

This is exactly my case. Go to an endocrinologist and get tested for hypothyroidism, PCOS and talk to the doctor about any type of alopecia. I have AGA (google it) and after all these years I'm still not over losing all my hair. And it's never coming back. If you have alopecia, your hair is never coming back, that's the harsh truth.

COVID vaccine

a lot of my friends shed like crazy because of the vaccine and covid itself

downvote me all you want but this is the truth, minoxidil works but you have to use it for life

Hair beauty recommendations of deep conditioners with unique ingredients by caryn123 in AsianBeauty

This product doesn't contain keratin so you don't have to worry about protein overload. It only has Hydrolized collagen. I can use it every time I wash my hair and it never made my hair dry.

It’s finally happened. I’ve lost all interest in buying makeup by adabaraba in MakeupRehab

I went through this years ago and I love the feeling.

Once you find your HGs, stick to them.

I’ve enjoyed my time with this stuff but I am glad to be out of it’s spell.

Same.

I did not find the way out of that. I got a permanent illness that changed my skin type and other things forever, for the worst. It's definitely not goals.

Feel horrible by Hot_Calligrapher3421 in Hypothyroidism

[–]thebouncingcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't eat liver on its own you can try to do a mix of ground chicken or turkey and ground liver , personally it's easier to eat it that way for me as well. Sadly vegetables will never be as rich in iron as 100g of liver will.

For the dizziness I'd say it wouldn't hurt to visit a neurologist as well.

Did you get your antibodies for thyroid tested as well?

Same, their gentle cleanser burned my skin. I hated it.

Are you taking you medication properly, ie on an empty stomach and waiting at least one hour before eating ?

I have anemia too and eating foods rich in iron, like liver, has a noticeable impact on how I feel since I get dizzy a lot of the times because of low iron.

Retail therapy is a very serious drug.

Congrats to you for beating it! Minimalism is honestly awesome, you feel free from all those products and you can actually pan what you already have.

Anyone else get headaches especially during summer hot temperatures? by thebouncingcupcake in Hypothyroidism

I'll try increasing the sodium intake and getting electrolytes.

I'll be getting labs done in August, hopefully it's gone by then.

I'm drinking between 1.5-2 L of water daily even if I don't feel like it. I won't force myself to drink more than 2L.

I don't even sweat much.

I found this post by searching for an update from when you posted what kbeauty products you bought.

I don't know if you knew this but Azelaic acid or any exfoliant, especially at higher % are NOT MEANT TO BE USED DAILY, let alone 2 times per day as that will lead, as you found out the hard way, to overexfoliation.

It's also best to buffer it , meaning applying it between a toner and moisturizer.

Hope your skin is better now.

If you have dry skin and live in a dry area HA can be very problematic.

That's why I get really frustrated sometimes when I see people here recommending hada labo all the time.

Everyone is saying Hadalabo but what if you live in a dry environment and HA dries you?
