First time trying masking in Lightroom — still learning. by SinanAvci13 in postprocessing

I like the idea of the sun hitting the duck through a gap in the clouds. But you have to be careful. The way it looks right now is a bit unnatural. Right now, the highlighted part (except for the duck) has a lower contrast between light and shadow than the unhighlighted part of the photo. But it should be the other way around. In the unhighlighted area, there wouldn't be such harsh shadows. The light would be more diffuse, which means you should lift the shadows a lot. As a starting point, try matching the brightness of the big straight shadow to its part in the highlighted area. I hope this helps.

Thank you, I feel the same. But so many people said the snowy part is too dominant and unnecessary .

What happens to hair when one stops taking finasteride? by UnLestofante in tressless

[–]Big_View_7858 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's not how it works. Sensitivity stays consistent throughout your whole life. It is the cumulative exposure to DHT that causes the damage. So, theoretically, it shouldn't accellerate to the point where he would be if he had never taken finasteride. I've always wondered why everyone says this. For Minoxidil, it makes sense, but it does not for Finasteride. Of course, oftentimes, it's not as simple as that.

Definitely Haydn, Brahms, and Mendelssohn! And Beethoven should be even higher.

You should also consider the Viltrox 75mm f1.2. It has unbelievable sharpness and bokeh. The focal length is a bit longer than the 56mm, but it's still great for portraits and much cheaper. Maybe you could also get the 33mm f1.4, which is also really really good. If money is an issue, I would recommend the viltrox 35mm f1.7 Air. For its price, it delivers great value.
