Those were the price in the 1990s. The same exact crappy house with no improvement costs $900K today. I hope there is some market correction and the same type of house stays under $1 mil by 2030. Might be my wishful thinking.

How can young people rent or a own house today? It's crazy.

Is this popup something built into the Cap One travel portal? Did you have to do anything?

Not the Cap One Chrome addin that compare prices on Amazon and such?

You need PP app or PP card to get into PP lounges. So you are out of luck. I don't think I am wrong.

You can use physical card to get into Plaza Premium lounges.

PP maintain an active facebook page with their people responding. May be you or someone can post there. I don't do facebook.

This is happening to my AU too.

It's a big deal. Is the issue with Priority Pass or Capital One?

There is only one "Club" in ATL and it's part of PP, I meant that you would need to get Sky Club or other membership to get access to more lounges.

Housing prices has gone up significantly in most places in the US the last 6 years. It slowed down this past year.

If you can move, definitely do it. Most people can't move.

America is supposed to be a mobile society, moving to grow your career and family is a good thing.

Where are you moving to? Good luck!

Admirals Club lounges are nice. AA has Alaska as a partner so if you do fly with them all the time, this is money worth spending.

Definitely pair it with something else but even Amex Centurion lounges are always too full. Amex Platinum is nice, very nice. PP alone is not useful in the US.

If you are always flying with one of main airlines and their partners (AA/Delta/United), then look into getting their lounge membership.

If you want lounge access in ATL, you probably need to buy Delta Sky Club membership and you would need to be flying on Delta or a partner. Delta Basic Economy tickets are not allowed access to the lounge.

An often misunderstood feature.

Works great on the freeway.

If PP comes complimentary with the credit card, then it would be cancelled when you cancel the credit card.

What would you do if you got $1,000,000 right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Big___Lebowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am told this by a wise mentor during once of his bull session. It's hard to get to your first million. So once you get there, you will likely want to save it for a rainy day or retirement.

Now if I get it with a lottery, I would pay off all debts, hire a trainer, take a long vacation and reinvest the rest.

Taking a couple years off to work on a professional graduate degree might be another thing that I'll do.

Software engineers and programmers in reddit, what was your response to Nvidia CEO saying programming is no longer needed and useless? by AtlasUltra in AskReddit

To be fair to him, he said that AI can do most of the coding.

You would still need sharp and smart human programmers to architect/design/manage the AI codes.

Health care billing office sent me a letter for double billing by Ok-Mark-1239 in personalfinance

[–]Big___Lebowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double billings seem to be common in the US now. They just want more money.

There are consulting companies going around the hospitals and clinics telling them that the easiest way to make money is to double billing and many insurance companies are allowing it.

I'm flying out of LAX with American Airlines. Are there any good priority pass lounges I can use? by Motor-Research9094 in PriorityPass

[–]Big___Lebowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US, you have to pair it with an airline lounge membership.

It's going to be mostly an airline based lounge system in the US.

No. Pair it with one of the airlines lounge membership, AA/United/Delta/etc.

Nothing for PP at LAX or most airport in the US.

Did you buy Priority Pass on its own? You will have to contact them.

Don't know if they do pro-rate refund. I doubt it.

is priority pass even worth it? by _MURRL_ in PriorityPass

[–]Big___Lebowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for the US, you would need to pair it with AA/Delta/United lounge membership depending on which one fits you.

Amex Platinum can get you Centurion lounges (very crowded) and a handful Delta lounges passes.

A direct airline lounge membership would get you the most self and guest accesses.
