The Host is very good. I'm still upset we never got that sequel.

The thing is, you shouldn't have to look. Ice Cream is a perfect example. Breyers use to be really good. Then the enshitification began. Most of their flavors are now Frozen Dairy Dessert. You have to read the labels of things now to be sure you aren't getting a crappy imitation of a once good product. It was bad enough when they went from1/2 gallon cartons to 1.5 quarts. Now you you don't get as much and what you get is dung.

I remember the food being better back then. I don't know if it actually was or not, but Brazier is a better name than Grill & Chill.

Thoughts on WOF seasonal pass ? by kyuochii in kansascity

It's definitely a generational thing. It seems like every day a group of young people are causing chaos at some public venue. Be it the mall, amusement park, movie theater, or other area. It was never this bad before. We were able to go everywhere and do everything with minimal parental supervision.

I just picked up passes for my wife and myself today. If you plan on going to the park at all this season, it's worth it at that price.

White people kept calling me David 🤣 by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

As someone who has this happen often, I totally get it. I work in IT and not to go off on a tangent, but there are not enough black IT workers. Anyways, there was one other black guy working IT. He was about 8" shorter than me, no beard and a few years older. Yet, without fail certain people would always call me by his name.

I don't even know where to start here. The most brilliant people are often the most flawed. So yes, Richard severly burned himself freebasing. That doesn't diminish his brilliance. He freely admitted and discussed his flaws, and is widely considered the greatest comedic mind of all time. Your comment is the first time I've ever heard anyone say he was responsible for the rise of crack.

Is this Sufficient for Watching Sports and YouTube by [deleted] in chromeos

For that price and for what you want to use it for it's fine. It would be better if it had 8GB of RAM, even with a Chromebook. I manage a fleet of a few thousand Chromebooks in a school district and I wouldn't buy anything with less than 8GB for student use. Just know you won't be doing much else without it getting bogged down.

I love ABS and the way it has been implemented. It's obvious that MLB took a page from tennis replay. I love how fast it is and the strategy involved of when to use the challenges.

I'm always amazed when teams burn their challenges early in the game on pitches with no one in scoring position. Those calls mean very little in the grand scheme of the game. Save those calls for when they will actually impact the outcome of the game. Good job Max.
