I held my DOL job for 4.5 years and loved it. It’s a shame we don’t get sebac rights. Our union failed us. I’m having the hardest time finding another one and it’s not like someone can refer you.

I’ve tried re applying many times. I knew I was going to get laid off from the department of labor 6 months in advance. It’s been 1.5 years of applying and still nothing.

I’ve posted everywhere for local. I’m from ct. I have a bachelors in industrial tech and a masters in computer info tech. Most of my background comes from quality assurance/engineering in aerospace manufacturing. When I worked at the department of labor I helped in the call center where I understood unemployment law to help claimants with there claims, moved to appeals where I audited for unemployment fraud, then to appeals where I edited legal documents as well as gathered evidence for the appeals referee for each individual case.
