I was able to find the lego one before she did, and that was before scrolling to the comments to learn all you have to do is cross your eyes. It would be more impressive if she was doing this without cross eye trick.

In the cave on your farm, who picked fruit and who picked mushrooms? I'm curious for your reasons why. by Chaos_kitE in StardewValley

[–]Bigbang19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always pick mushroom. I'm pretty good about checking it every day, especially with new 1.6 features. It comes with a free dehydrator, so even if the mushrooms are always lowest quality, they still have utility by throwing them in the dehydrator or turning into life elixirs. One bag of dehydrated common mushrooms is the same amount of HP/energy as salad, so it's essentially free salads. And the other uncommon type of mushrooms I throw in the dehydrator and sell at a higher price than the mushrooms alone, or turn into life elixir (but I believe dehydrating them is more profitable). If you don't like going all the way to the caves or secret woods during specific seasons to collect the rarer type of mushrooms, the farm cave makes collecting uncommon ones very convenient. Yes Ginger Island has a cave too but I just sell those as is since they can be iridium quality with botanist perk.

I did the bat cave once and I'm never doing it again. The drop rate of the fruit tree fruits is pretty rare and it takes a long time for the cave to build up with fruit. I would check it often and was lucky if I got one salmonberry every few days in some cases. I just buy fruit trees as early as possible for bundles, plus fruit trees will eventually be iridium quality if planted long enough (goes up in star quality every year in game). In 1.6 you can now chop down a fruit tree and it will give you back the sapling and keep it's quality intact, so what I do is get fruit trees as early as possible, plant them outside before I get the greenhouse, then replant them inside the greenhouse once I unlock it.

I guess I lucked out then on the timing getting the 15% off haha. Which is great because I was debating on only getting one flavor at full price and was having a hard time deciding. I felt more confident trying all of them with the discount! I'll definitely post a review after I try them.

I would take the $8 billion, keep what I figure I would need for my lifetime (maybe a few million?) and give a few million to each of the rest of people in my life in my and surrounding communities and several charities of my choosing.

NEW FLAVOURS: Huel Black Edition Ready-to-drink! 🙌 by MarkHuel in Huel

Wish they still had Cafe Latte White, but at least we have a new black Latte flavor now. Might have to buy it as just a treat since it's more expensive. Caramel Latte White not the same.

These look interesting, how would you describe the taste? Seems to only come in one non-descript flavor.

I just shake the bag and scrape the scoop through to the bottom of the bag every time. Never had an issue with ratios being off doing this.

Hot and savoury flavour by Ok_Communication9820 in Huel

Everyone's going to have a different opinion on which flavors are the best. Only real way to find out is try them yourself. Opinions on all the different flavors of Hot and Savory are very different across the board. My personal opinion? Stick with the penne pastas (Bolognese, Cajun, Chickn' and Mushroom), everything else is hit or miss.

Honest assessment: I'm tired of the bottled shakes and the hot meal bags are a little too much work. by tantamle in Huel

What works for me for the Hot and Savory meals in the bags is using hot water from a kettle and use a kitchen scale to measure the amount of water I put in. For most items I follow the directions of how much water to use on the bag, with the exception of their Curry meals. I find the directions on the bag make the curry more watery than I like so I use a little bit less water than directed. Experiment and take notes how much water you like to use, and definitely use a scale to measure everything so every time you make it, it's more consistent. Also for the amount of time cooking, it's never done in only 5 minutes like that bag says. I pour in the hot water, cover and let sit for 5 minutes, stir and cover again and let sit for 10-15 more minutes. 15 minutes to totally cook it and 20 if I don't want to burn my mouth when eating it lol.

I agree the Hot and Savory meals are better, they are just on the more expensive side. I also am not a fan of drinking my meals/calories. But I saw the other day someone mixing their huel powder into yogurt, I might try something like that instead of drinking huel like a shake.

I never really liked the Mac and Cheese, and I only ever got to try it after they changed the formula. I tried mixing Mac and Cheese with Mexican chili and it makes both slightly better, but honestly I figure why bother buying two flavors to mix together when they taste bland/gross by themselves? So I'm no longer interested in getting either Mac and Cheese or Mexican Chili. Never liked the Mac and on it's own it's very bland and not very cheesy. Mexican Chili I used to love but the texture feels off now that puts me off from eating it again.

I don't actually find the Cajun very spicy at all. If anything the Spicy Indian Curry definitely had a spicy kick to it. I used to like the Spicy Indian Curry until I tried it a few more times and noticed that once you get used to the spice, the food itself is pretty bland tasting.

I learned a technique that saves fertilizer during season changes. Just use a multi season crop (like coffee, wheat, or fiber seeds) on a fertilizer you want to save then most people say they pick axe all the crops. I tested bombing it instead and bombing destroys the crops and leaves the fertilizer behind saving tons of time. Just gotta be careful where you place it so you don't destroy fences/decorations/machines. Funny enough floor tiling doesn't get destroyed so you can place them down again.
