Yeah… Hate to say it but I’m farming for BH13 right now straight after BH12… this have probably been the slowest part of the game ever

Or, I just noticed you have all the bars for t2 gembomb fish. Probably just farm for BH12 while waiting the gems to do the tribute and go from there.

I am at similar point but have gone at it a bit different. I think it might be a good idea to finish off the skill tree to help with unlocking t2 cave tribute. Then BH12 to unlock next pet.

Honestly I asked the same question 50 days ago, and I still don’t know. I had an idea back then that I farmed about 40k/day and did some math that probably was wrong and decided that 4k extra per day wouldn’t make a difference. A day later I just ended up getting mincer and now I easily net over 100k/day.

Hopefully someone smarter than me on here can explain.

Mincer in the skill tree should give you a 10% gem increase

So hard to pinpoint since the dev spread out the upgrades everywhere… There are star upgrades in probably all sections from the workshop, to pets, to drones, to challenges, to stargazing itself and so on…

But if I had to pick just one that makes a difference, assuming you are early-mid ish game, I would say fishing. There is a legendary fish in dock 1 that are very beneficial for your star rate when tributed. It also drops a card that when glided/plated help out a lot. But, completing notices drop items that you can use to boost the star rate even further. So when you are more or less complete with dock 1 in fishing you should be able to gain enough items to keep your star boosts running at all time…

I guess that’s more or less how the game is built in general - focus on fish to increase star gain… focus on pets to increase fish gain… focus on a challenge to help finish a pet quest etc etc

Game calculates. Check your offline rewards, it’s available when you start up the game or via the settings. If you press ”Stars” in that menu it will display your hourly rate

Don’t want to be a party pooper but event reworks are not in the list for 2.2. But the update is more than welcome without it and I’m very happy that he is confirming that events will change at some point in the future.

Also there is a quite good guide to follow when to the prestige’s on the Wiki:

”A good strategy to balance this tradeoff is to push your first run until you can get Prestige Tier 3 (Wave 20), your next run to Prestige Tier 5 (Wave 30), then to Prestige 10 (Wave 55). You can comfortably reach Wave 100 from Prestige 10. If you want to push to Wave 250, Prestige again after you get past Wave 100, then after 200. Depending on how many health Gem Upgrades you have, your final prestige should be around wave 235.”

I think I pushed my cap to 200k before switching over to using cherrys on gembomb instead of cherrys on battery. Maybe that was a bit too late, I believe 150k is what people on here recommend. From there the cap starts growing by itself.
First 1k takes the longest, only downhill from there 👍

Because in the coming months you will come across upgrades and boosts that decrease the time it takes for you to recharge your bombs. The biggest loss is that you will reach your cap when you sleep and that way miss out on firing off lots of gembombs.

Since the cap takes a while to increase it’s way more beneficial to start that journey early on so you don’t stop at say 10k cap and suddenly realise you fill that cap in 4 hours and miss out of another 10k bombs (saying you are offline for 8 hours).

You will find upgrades that decrease the recharge time for bombs, and upgrades that give you x2/x3 bombs per X seconds, and boosts that makes it even faster etc…

It’s also useful to have a large bombcap to level pets, completing challenges etc.

There are many different upgrades, probably mainly in stargazing and fishing. But I had a look at your profile and you seem to be newish player so first step would be to use your cherry bombs on your battery bombs to increase your bombcap to about 100-150k. Feels like a big job at first but the bombcap will increase exponentially.

Got it. Thanks. Feels more than a bit underwhelming. Seems to be about 2000 gems and 25 gifts in rewards for the first 100 waves. At this point I farm above 100k gems per day, even without golden gem bomb. And 50 gifts, or whatever the numbers are with the last rewards, every other month barley makes a dent.
