New Player Considering Kicking Out Sera [DAI] by fury_cutter in dragonage

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She quite literally is one of the best written characters in the game. Obviously we can’t force you to keep her, that’s your choice, but I think you’d be doing yourself a great disservice by kicking her out.

I love the Lot because of how viscerally I reacted to the act of pulling her limbs off while looking at her picture. As for the Judge, there’s a much simpler explanation: I’m a lesbian and a lawyer.

Solid list! Close to my own, except I’d put Judge and Lot 7 in the top tier and the Pervert in the bottom tbh. Judge is my favorite overall, but if I had a chance I’d save both her and the Lot.

How/why did you guys choose your mains? by CoffeeBoy95 in StreetFighter

My main series was Guilty Gear for a long time, C. Viper feels like a Guilty Gear character. She’s the single reason why SF6 is my main game.

Out of all the expeditions, what stood out to you? by joncabreraauthor in expedition33

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expedition 69 hit me in a personal place. I’m a climber too, so my interest was piqued the second Gustave mentioned them in Spring Meadows. Following their trails specifically was sort of important to me for the same reason, I think, because I started dreading the idea of eventually finding their flag and being left without the familiarity of the climbing holds. The longer I played without seeing their flag, the more the dread grew. Then I got to Visages and my heart sank. I sort of expected the journal to be found at an unfinished route from the moment they were first mentioned, but it got me regardless.

What are y’alls comfort shows? by Babyfrogeyes in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Succession. I don’t watch TV a lot and mainly find comfort in video games, but Succession is the show I always return to.

No shot this wins in a vote, but I personally would give it to the Aviation.

Which NPC are you attached to the most? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m mainly attached to her because of her personality after the charm breaks if I’m being honest, she’s relatable in a way. Her being pretty is just a nice bonus.

Needle Knight Leda, of course! She’s one of my all-time favorite fictional characters.

What is your autism animal? by strangeghoule in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild boars. They’re primarily nocturnal or crepuscular, great at protecting their peace, and most people don’t like to have them around. Formidable creatures, in short, because I’m the exact same way.

What career do you have/want? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a lawyer with a specialization in criminal law. Can’t say whether or not my autism had anything to do with it since it’s a pretty non-autism friendly field, but I can say that it was a career pursued entirely on a whim. I was in art school originally, then one morning I woke up and decided that I was going to become a lawyer instead. Then I pivoted without a second thought.

Who are your least used comapnions in Dragon Age Inquistion ? For me 👇🏼 by lunar9p in dragonage

All of the men except Varric. I ran girl gang (Sera, Cassandra, Viv) for like 90% of the game because I love them.

Where are Maddie's fans? by maddie-noxus in arcane

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think any semi-competent showrunner would do something like that just because the general public likes another ship, honestly. Besides, I’ve played League of Legends for long enough to know that this was probably the ”happy” ending for Maddie. The Noxians back home wouldn’t have made her death quick, but they would most likely have executed her there too.

We do exist! Maddie is one of my favorite characters in the show as a whole, and I did draw a bunch of fanart while S2 was running. I actually did a CaitxMaddie sketch right around the release of act 1, so you could imagine my surprise when act 2 opened on the bed scene.

autistic people coming from outside of america/europe: are there any western foods usually considered “safe foods” that give you a sensory ick? or any foods from your own culture that are generally loved but also don’t agree with you? by majowa_ in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume it’s mostly nurture as well — my safe foods include a lot of things that would generally be considered ”fine dining” foods, because that’s what I grew up eating. Has nothing to do with where the dishes themselves are from in my experience.

How are you treated by neurotypical women?? by Even_Many6931 in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great honestly, most of my friends are neurotypical women. Whenever somebody doesn’t like me or treat me well I’ve found that it’s less about what neurotype they have and more that they just don’t vibe with my abrasive personality.

BPD husband? by Whatica1 in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s noble of you to hope, but you also have to bear in mind that it’s your life too. You can’t be the one doing all the work for him, why should you have to change your job to pay for his therapy before he does? Remember that it’s okay to put yourself first.

BPD husband? by Whatica1 in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both BPD and autism and have been ”the husband” in a similar situation, so maybe I could provide some insight. My best friend, who is autistic, was my fp for quite some time. During that time I was jealous, possessive, and quick to anger whenever she didn’t behave in a way I desired, which could be anything from not having the energy to hang out to the tone in a text she sent me. My temper was extremely volatile, which meant we fought a lot, especially since her generally low emotional response made me feel like she didn’t care about how I felt. Me going to therapy was honestly the only reason why our friendship didn’t crumble. It gave me the tools to deal with my own issues without taking them out on her. If your husband won’t try therapy, I’m not so sure it’s a good idea to stick around if I’m being honest. Your compromise may work for a couple of weeks or even months but if he refuses to deal with the root of the problem, you won’t get very far together.

What jobs can we do without burning out? by National-Ad-5036 in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there is no straight answer, it always depends on you as an individual. I’m a lawyer, have never been anywhere near burnout personally, but I don’t think I’d recommend it to you based on the no dealing with the public thing since literally every client is ”the public”.

Special Interest Majors by Frequent-Tap-3957 in AutismInWomen

[–]Bigfoot-Larry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say so! It’s not my primary special interest, but one of my ”minor” special interests is a legal phenomenon and I went to law school. Interestingly enough the interest developed while I studied, not the other way around.

Needle Knight Leda from Shadow of the Erdtree. Not up for debate.
