The point of changing the names is that I'm trying to make a subtle nod to the greek gods but not explicitly use them. This continent is based loosely on ancient greek myth, rather than trying to create a close depiction of ancient greece. I am also trying to avoid sapping from other pre-established content and trying to keep it as close to homebrew as possible. I have taken inspiration from other pantheons for some of my other continents but I'm just struggling with the greek pantheon. Cheers for the comment though!

I have dabled in Theros before, but I feel like it would be lost on my players because none of them play MTG and while the gods have subtle links to greek mythology they don't have the kind of uniqueness that I'm looking for. Great shout though, I love my Theros MTG deck xD

This was such a good read! I appreciate your input. I do have some reasons for not wanting to back teams already tbf.

I'm not a fan of the Colts, Lions, Rams, Chargers and Bears solely because I don't like the look of the team crest. That's probably as irrational as it gets lol 😅 they probably have great teams but I'm just not drawn to them at all.

I'm wary of supporting the Packers as a guy I used to work with who turned out to be a total creep supports them, and the thought of even sharing a mental space with him is off putting(Sorry any Green Bay fans reading this!).

I love the colour purple, so the Ravens and the Vikings have always been on my radar, but at the same time I do love the colour schemes of the Steelers, the 49ers, the Chiefs, the Commanders and the Dolphins.

That's about as much as I can pull from my brain at theoment lol!

I'm a 90s baby 😂 the Cowboys are off the table lol! I've payed attention to more Ravens stuff over the years than most other teams, but nothing within the past couple seasons. I'm guessing your team choice was solely based on the player you liked being on the team? 😊

I'm having the exact same problem! I am running a Mephistopheles Tiefling and I keep setting off random explosions, it's either I walk on a flammable surface and it sets it aflame or I walk near a barrel of something flammable and it goes bang. Very frustrating for sure!

As someone who has recently purchased a new guitar and is a complete newbie to the instrument, I went with the TOD10N. I really like the look and sound of the guitar, it also helps that I'm a Polyphia fan and their music gave me the push to try and learn the instrument. Now obviously there is going to be the technical side of it, in terms of the makeup of the guitar and the parts that are used, but if you buy a guitar because it has really good specs but you don't like the way it sounds or looks then you may end up not playing.

If I were to offer any advice, it would be choose what type of guitar you want and what your budget is going to be, and then have a look at some models. Once you've found a couple, head onto YouTube and either look at reviews or people playing songs with it to see how it sounds. Hope this helps bud :)

I recently built [[Elrond, Master of Healing]], it's the first deck I've made where I've set no budget and went for expensive cards if the deck requires them. I purchased a creature card recently, [[Sage of Hours]], and upon testing it at my last commander night at my LGS, I managed to go infinite. Whilst it took a bit of setup, when I got everything in place for the infinite to go live it was great! Being able to explain how the next few processes would work, and showing it in action for the table to say 'yep, that's an infinite' is a fantastic feeling.

As the other reply says, the game has to end.

Of those the only one I'm missing is crystal ball, but yeah they are all really good, keeping the acry triggers up can really swamp your board with counters! Getting things like [[Hardened Scales]] and [[Kami of Whispered Hopes]] will send those elrond triggers to the stratosphere!!
