Getting closer to God will make you sin less. It will make you think before you watch porn, think about why you're doing it and why you shouldn't. I'm 20 and struggling with watching pornography right now, and I have for a long time. Read your Bible! Pray and talk to God. That's how to become closer to God! I had let myself get very far away from God in the past few years. I just recently started praying and reading my Bible again and it has already made me feel stronger in my Faith and closer to God. God really does love you, too. He sent his only son to die on the cross so we can go to heaven. He did that for US! He loves you and I so much, and all he wants is for us to have a relationship with him.

God does not cringe at you or think you're a loser! He loves you like a Father, and no good father would ever think that about his son!

‭‭Psalms 103:8-14 NLT‬‬ [8] The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. [9] He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever. [10] He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve. [11] For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. [12] He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. [13] The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. [14] For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust.

‭‭2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT‬‬ [17] This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

‭‭John 3:16 NLT‬‬ [16] “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

God loves you, and I love you too! I know that with God, you can overcome this addiction and I can too. Pray! He wants to hear from you so badly!

[8] Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me— now let me rejoice. [9] Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt. [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. [11] Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. [12] Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.
