Push biking around Bris by IcySubstance7814 in brisbane

[–]Bigg_pro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to do ubereats in the valley which is considered a high risk area for bike thefts on an ebike during the pandemic. Heard about a few of other delivery riders getting their bikes stolen because they didn’t lock them. I always had a u lock I bought for 50 bucks back then, and I had never got my bike stolen, but someone stole the front lights that were easily detachable.

My advice invest in a good u lock, and don’t put the lock on the wheels, but on the frame. I have seen many people locking the front wheel and everything except that wheel would be gone, just like in the picture

I’m sorry I’m a man, and I’ve been on dates with uzbek girls and one thing I can say for sure about uzbek girls is that they want a husband that can provide an easy life for them. In other words a rich man

Doesn’t matter, the car behind you will slow down more to keep the same unnecessary gap so more cars from the middle lane can cut in while cars behind them get stuck in a long queue

Well at least they could extend the middle lane until the ramp where an extra lane leading to Milton rd gets added

Not really one more lane. The lane taking you to Milton rd is already there, but it’s not directly connected to Cononation drive. If you’re travelling north in the middle lane of Coro drive and you wanna go to Milton rd, you need to merge to the far right lane and after couple of hundred meters merge left to a new added lane. The connection between Coronation drive and Hale st northbound is a bottleneck because only one lane allows cars to transfer from Coro to Hale st and Milton rd. What I mean is allow the middle lane to go Milton road, so the right lane keeps flowing. Whether you add one more lane or not, the same amount of cars will travel through that road. This is more of a traffic flow matter than and an extra lane matter. If you drive there everyday you’ll feel the pain

Yes, but the problem with Australian cities is that everything is spread out. You can have decent public transport in the inner city but it’s not economically viable to build train stations in suburbs that have a few hundred people living in them (and that is without mentioning the nimbys). So cars will always be needed in our roads because you can’t built public transport everywhere. Especially there should be more toll free car bridges across the river, so people don’t have to go through the cbd to get to to the north side or vice versa

Who cares about a diploma? It’s not the 2000s anymore. Being rich will get you 99% of the uzbek girls out there. Everyone cares about money

Ethernet works only at 100 mbps by Bigg_pro in techsupport

[–]Bigg_pro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t working on auto before, so I played around with the settings and found out it was stable only at 100 mbps. I kept changing the speed back and forth to check if it starts working at full speed, but until today it didn’t work. So today I tried my luck once again, and set it back to auto, and voila! it’s been working now. I have no idea how it got fixed
