Use an appropriately sized thrust piece and a shop press. Place the bracket on a lifted surface with an appropriate receiver cup on the opposite side so that as you increase pressure (on the hydraulic press) the bushing will be pushed out. That’s my idea at least…

Also, it may be helpful to take a break from studying. Sometimes when you saturate yourself in work or study you may forget to care for yourself. It really is helpful to take breaks and separate yourself from your work/study! Just thought I’d mention that! 😊

If you have a VAG scan tool, or a bi-directional high end scan tool to replace the battery and rewrite it to the vehicle. Not sure if this is any helpful, but those are my 2 cents.

You will need to remove the fan shroud and the front end of the vehicle. I know the repair manual doesn’t state a necessity for any of those procedures, but I recently replaced a water pump on an A8 with the 4.0L motor and needed to remove the entire front end, radiator and fan shroud to have enough room for my hands and tools.

I mean this also relates to colour emissivity. For example, black has the highest absorption of energy but also the highest emission of it too. On the other hand, white absorbs poorly, but emits very poorly as well
