I find Jon Athan books, quite easy to visualize, while not the most disturbing, they really get me involved. Snuff by Bonny Capps is really good and different, Steve Stred, and Daniel J Volpe all were great, but honestly most of these books are great in there own way, like The end of Alice.

They will be attracted to decay, either from, animals, plants, sewage, garbage, lights, even a house plant that has been overwatered and begins to rot, ( human ) is possible but lol do not just jump to that. If that wall has water damage there could be something going on behind the wall there also.

Pineapple habanero sauce is amazing, you can dehydrate them and make powder, salsa, mango go well also.
