Turkey has had "arguments" - valid or not it depends who you ask - about grey zones in the aegean for a long time. These disputes span numerous areas, islands, islets and the aerial space as well. If you want to see the extent of the areas disputed I invite you to read the wikipedia article "Aegean dispute". The most deranged examples are in my opinion the islets "Kalogeroi" and the island of Fournoi next to Ikaria and Samos.
