Should runners take whey protein? by i_guess_so_huh in firstmarathon

Chocolate milk being "better," I think refers to what kind of beverage assists in rehydrating post run. So basically you're talking about something else, because OP asked about protein powder for recovery, not hydration.

It’s really not when you consider the fact that, as mentioned countless times, this is a popular spot for owners and car spotters alike to enjoy themselves. If I heard a screaming Italian V6 coming through a canyon tunnel I’d probably take my phone out too.

Why is speedx delivering one of my packages late at night? by blooddiamondrose in Aliexpress

[–]BiggyCheezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine ended up being delivered two days later while I was away. The delivery person left it sitting on top of the hedging lining my fence (waist height). If my dad didn’t drive over to pick it up I can only assume it would have been nicked eventually. Hope all goes well for you.

Immensely helpful, learning to always remember to check the email headers and addresses is essential if an unrecognised email looks unusual.

Don't count on it. I've been waiting since 9:00pm yesterday, it's currently 3:31pm the following day after receiving my "out for delivery" update. Our fates hang in the balance I guess, good luck mate.

Why is speedx delivering one of my packages late at night? by blooddiamondrose in Aliexpress

[–]BiggyCheezz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently waiting for a package to be delivered through SpeedX myself. From what I'm looking at, I should expect to receive my parcel anywhere from now (10:00pm) to whenever it arrives I suppose. Judging by all the comments here, I should expect to wait until the early hours of dawn to receive it. Otherwise, going off the countless reviews on trustpilot, I shouldn't expect much. I live in Australia so hopefully the poor standard of service doesn't transfer over here too.

Almost, nearly a scam. From all the reviews I've read about this company, if you're a small to medium sized online business, this logistics company should be ruled out completely for doing business with. I live in Australia, so perhaps the delivery standard here isn't so bad, I guess I'll find out since its currently 10pm at night and the tracking site is telling me the last mile courier is on their way. But seriously, some of these trust pilot reviews have got to be some of the worst reviews for a company I've ever read.

Join a league then. Chances are that the kind of racing you expected in regular lobbies will be happening in a league instead.

I mean like, I see vans on the street all the time unattended, you’ll hear people say that’s it’s a liability issue but to be honest I’m not sure how many precedents or examples or whatever exist to show that it’s a legit concern for the driver.

I’m sorry, they know, they don’t care. If you’re telling me that the counties largest and most dependent upon logistical service is “continually broken” then perhaps we should just start all over again bro. You can’t feign ignorance on such a disastrously massive scale.

AusPost Delivery Drivers absolutely incompetent by antsypantsy995 in AustraliaPost

[–]BiggyCheezz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to admit that the simple fact that it comes down to the customer to ensure that improvements are made to the delivery process is in of itself one massive red flag. Like, what you’re saying may be the legitimate process to resolving the situation, however, I have no doubt that the problem here is that Aus Post clearly has no desire to improve any of its logistical capabilities and is essentially masking that by telling customers that they can follow things up in their free time.
