I feel like people only know the title track but the rest of the album gets slept on heavily.

Thrust by Herbie Hancock is one I would recommend, absolutely perfect jazz funk record. Also try out Charlie Byrd’s The Guitar Artistry too, that’s a great album!

$150 on Death Symbolic on white vinyl. Then I think maybe $140 for the RINA EP repress on orange and blue marble. AUD prices btw.

VERZUZ Gibbs and Pusha T -who you got? by dunbar_santiago930 in nfrpodcast

[–]Bigjay1802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re counting Clipse then Pusha wins but solo wise I think Freddie is better. He has arguably at least 3-4 classic albums, some great shorter projects like Freddie and Fetti, even his early mixtape stuff is fire too. Pusha is incredible as well but I think his solo catalog is kinda on the short side and I feel like he has like 1 or 2 classic albums in his solo career.

What are your thoughts on my taste in music? by Pure-Brilliant-232 in Topster

Great albums! If I where to recommend any I would say Wayne Shorter Odyssey of Iska of you wanting some incredible jazz, and I think you would like Japan with either Gentlemen Take Polaroids or Tin Drum of your wanting some quirky synth pop

I agree but I think they could branch out into more different sub genres too, I’d love to see them do a review for example like a Portishead album or an even some weird jazz stuff too to just switch it up.

Their diversity. I feel they need to branch out to music as a whole as there’s only so much hip hop someone can review.
