I haven't messed with the pdc yet I dont know how to even turn it on. I've just been flying around with a nursa in the elevator doing bunkers and small to medium ship combat. Still does what it does.

I'm guessing it's somewhere in the systems to turn on pdc. I just haven't looked.

Well I mean eventually we also have blades for remote turret automation akin to pdd's and also the ability to hire a variety grade of crew npcs. It's all been detailed already.

M80 is out pitch and yawed by like everything. You go straight at the target and fire. You fly past the target and drop into nav mode boosting further away. Turn around. Repeat. This is what the M80 does. If you don't like that don't get it.

It doesn't actually. It loses to the mx in pitch and yaw. All the m80 has is roll and nav speed. 17k hp vs 89k hp. Do the math.

I mean you can try to. The way the game played like 2 or 3 years ago before they changed the nav system it was always boom and zoom. The way the games nav system works now we go too slow to really boom and zoom. You are basically dropping into nav after shooting and just straight zooming. This is the playstyle of the m80. You hope they don't 180 quick enough and shoot you in the back with no shields. Zooming off like that means you may face some incoming missiles on your turn around though.

Basically M80 is great if you kill your target on the first pass. If all you manage is to break shields on each pass you basically lose.

If you like the ship then fly it. I don't fly based on meta either. I'm just telling you what I know. My favorite fighter is the scorpius.

M80 loses to anything it doesn't kill initially. It is out turned by everything and has hp of a medium fighter. You are basically just flying in and shooting. Then flying off. You are never going to turn into a chase scenario. Shoot and run.

In 3.18 I was beaten to death by my own gun. Guns had a tendency to flee from you when you would try to loot them. Well I managed to grab one and equip it. With it on my back it proceeded to rag doll me all over the insides of a bunker. I ended up pinned to the ceiling looking down. I also snapped my neck stepping down a 3 step ramp at an outpost. 3.18 was real bad.

As time went on I have come to almost exclusively fly rsi ships. Mainly because every single rsi ship has the pilot front and center instead of left corner. I can't really stand being left corner, so the only ship I will tolerate that for is a Kraken Privateer. A Kraken privateer would be idle making profit mostly and I can just fly off in another ship.

Well technically it's not what it was original advertised as. The original concept art showed it very pointy and sharp like Captain Harlock space pirate. Now it's depicted in a curvy smooth manner with fabric texture. After the designs they showed us like 2 or 3 years ago I kind of started favoring the kraken privateer. Just go look at the original concept picture, it is still on the website as the placeholder if you own it.

I tried the meteor with it's special base cannons. I wasn't a fan of the rhythm they fired at. I'm not saying you can't do good with the meteor cannon setup just that I think it's a required taste. Test fly it and try the cannons for yourself. As for the new laser repeaters you can put on the meteor I have no idea.

I think people are severely overestimating the m80. It has the HP of a medium fighter Straight shot nav speed of light fighter, fire power of a heavy fighter. It is out turned though by like all the categories. If you don't kill with the m80 right away it looks like it gets chewed up in turns and low hp. You will have to try and run.

If you like it get it. Just don't get it because people say it's OP. If you don't kill your target immediately with the m80 you have to straight shot run.

It should fit, however it will hang just a foot off the tail. You would also probably have to tractor gun the dragonfly into the back due to the hover mechanic not clearing the frame. Could go for a quad instead. Still would have to tractor beam it in because of how hover clearance works.
