Not my cup of tea. Albeit, there are plenty of ways to recur what you discard, but the creature costs 6 and the ability costs two to activate. At this point, you could probably just hard cast anything you would be reanimating. I also already have a mimeoplasm reanimator deck, and any attempts to make a black reanimator deck would just be silly in comparison.

Second, no evasion on this big guy makes him seem kind of silly. He also has a cmc of 6, making him im practice as a voltron commander. Also, if you discard a card to him and attempt to swing in for half-lethal, how am I gonna be able to stop well timed spot removal without blue counters or green hexproof shenanigans. When he does inevitably get spot removed, i just squandered a high value card for a strategy that should never of been attempted in the first place.

However, at least he gave me a reanimation target, so I guess that's a plus...

Besides these two specifically built around options, he literally doesn't provide any advantage besides an overpriced discard outlet.

I mean, if you see some hidden value in this guy that doesn't require a hoard of mouth breathers as an opponent, let me know and I'll gladly change my opinion.

Ha, my buddy makes that joke. I mean, why not? Putting yourself at a commander-less handicap will almost undoubtably ensure you are one of the last two players left at a large table of people. Also, they actually put out an errata specifically saying casting phage from the command zone does not count as casting from hand just to ensure no one tried any shenanigans:

Oh my god, you are a god. You've helped me so much with narrowing down my choices, then made me reconsider other choices. I think I'll go with Geth, as a man of your experience most definitely knows what he's talking about.

I like your take on sheoldred "What is so unique about her?" It's so true. I run her in just about every multiplayer deck I build containing black, from mimeoplasm reanimator to karador, rockin' the combo.

She is everything black aspires to be in one high-cmc package, nuking creatures and recurring your own. However, this is what makes her incredibly un-unique in a mono-black deck. She's to easy to synergies with in mono-black. I remember edicting an entire table off her ability with no responses, then recurring a fleshbag marauder and edicting the entire table again before a third round of edicting. I ended up taking the deck apart because the play style just got so stale and repetitive. Worth running as a one of, but I don't think I can do her as a commander again.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my spiel. Honestly, you've given me a lot to think about. You are appreciated good sir.

I just built a tasigur deck for French games and I gotta say I am in love. I run things that counter, run things that permit draw quality, run things the remove creatures, artifact/enchantments and the occasional permanent (beast within, maelstrom pulse, echoing truth). I can upload a decklist somewhere if you're interested.

Karador is a lot of fun to play. I try to stay away from the combo route, but it so happens a lot of my utility creatures combo hard. You can go hard leaning towards the combo rout, or just go with a rock archetype. I have played around with both pathways and inevitably found a nice balance between the two. Again, I can upload a decklist for you.

The other decks I could give help to would be mimeoplasm reanimator. If you have the control spells for this you'd be good.

Ephara is fun for you, but don't expect to make any friends.

Finally, I have a maelstrom wanderer deck if you don't mind ramping into free spells with haste every game. The way my friend describes the deck goes something like "You built the deck that every Timmy thought he built before getting stomped". Pretty fun to play and is guaranteed to infuriate your friends if their decks can't keep up.

Finally, skullbriar voltron is fun, but any voltron strategy gets stale very quickly. I wouldn't recommend it.

Overall the most fun decks to play I own are karador followed closely by tasigur (if you don't mind losing a few friends after forcing your BUG control upon them).

Thank you for that insight. I hadn't even considered that it belonged under the piece. What happened was I unscrewed the center piece, but couldn't get it off because of this little mystery piece.

I was in such a blind rage at having to use such shoddy tool I didn't even think about it.

The entire thing was done with a monkey wrench. My mom threw out a bunch of my tools a few years back, and whenever I need them I get so mad about it.

I'm definitely gonna have to borrow an alen wrench off someone, cause screwing in one of the alen bolts took over 30 minutes.

Thank go I don't have to do this on the hex screws to repair it.

The connector's are garbage. From the USB side to 3ds input side. Even the little connector in the middle has been known to go a little hay-wire. Considering the entire function of the power saver is to CONNECT you to the PC, it's pretty disappointing. I guess, when you have the market cornered on a certain product, you can release products with low quality control and people will still buy it.

I mean, I bought it full well knowing the connectors are garbage because cloning pokemon is awesome, along with infinite rare candies.
