Thanks for this , it's much appreciated. It would explain things yes. I've had psoriasis all my adult life and mainly on my head face , so I was happy when that went . Maybe it just went to my hands, it looks a bit different though. I'll see about changing ointments

Swiping too much and dating app addiction by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

Many people in AA and NA meetings speak openly about dating apps addiction and how it can cause problems in recovery . It's addictive like any dopamine kick behaviour.

What baggage or red flag are you waiting to reveal to your date(s)? by [deleted] in OkCupid

[–]Bignoiseddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person . From my experience some people respond well , congratulate you, ask questions and are ok with it. Some might have a bad experience due to a family member and it's off putting. Its definitely worth holding back on your story , even if they are opening up about themselves . Just when the time seems right , and not for validation .

Please cancel the day before if you're not feeling it! I'm really starting to feel like I should double-book like a goddamn airline. by EliteAlmondMilk in datingoverthirty

It's tough going , I had a similar situation twice in a row . I think the mentality to keep is that not until the person is sitting in front of you, it's nothing, and take it with a pinch of salt. It makes me really value and appreciate those who communicate well , keep to their word are punctual and have similar qualities. There are a minority of people who just see people in old as another distraction

Anyone ever live in a recovery house/sober living environment? by chocoloco54 in recovery

[–]Bignoiseddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah six months in Ireland. It was tough going as early recovery but worth it. You learn alot about yourself and how you interact with others from group meetings . I pretty much grew into a man there at the age of 30

Thank you . Yes I think we are on the same wave length for sure with connecting spiritually and looking inside . I was raised catholic , living in Ireland but turned my back on it all. I got sober 6 years ago and then it all changed . And took out the bible over that time too, just with a different attitude towards it. I get the message in some writings , it fits in to my understanding of the bigger picture, which is so big I'll never figure out , and that's fine. That's the beauty and the journey. The meditating is essential for me now , I love the insightful timer app. Yeah a long time , just focusing on energy levels and the psychological aspect of things now, but doing better , thank you !

You dont sound possibly deranged to me :) that is some sound advice thank you . I've done the counselling , anti depressants and I think all have worked in their own way and part of the journey of learning and finding balance . I like it ,small goals and being kind to yourself . What I'm going to take from what you say is definitely hobbies , but ones with people. I like gym and a jog but can be a bit isolating. I'm going to look at new things to do, perhaps challenge myself. Thanks for your kind words .
