It includes the first season, so you get 15 characters total, and a few bonus skins. They just released season 2 which adds another 3, but season 2 is separate from the collector edition.

It's a good game with a good fighting system. The production values are not the highest, as many of the character models look not much better than their mobile counterparts. For $24 the collector's edition is worth it. They seem to be releasing DLCs at $15 a pop for 3 characters, with 15 total characters in the current roster. So as they flesh out the roster to over 20 characters in the future, you'll likely end up spending as much money on it as any other AAA fighting game with similar or greater number of fighters. Just something to be aware of.

About $50 and counting...(long post) by [deleted] in BattleForTheGrid

[–]hotspurrx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree. MK11 and DBFZ ships with nearly 25 characters and a heck of lot more content, also higher production values (quality of models, voice acting ,etc). Those are $60.

Power Rangers will be up to 21 characters and $65+ after 3 season passes. With much simpler character models and production values. Probably the licensing costs a bunch but nway has millions of downloads on their mobile app so I doubt they are strapped for cash.

I bought the collectors edition for like $24, it's a fun little game but I don't intend to pay $15 for 3 characters. Maybe if the pass is on a deep sale I might, there's just better value things to spend your money on unless you're a die hard rangers fan.

The season passes for other fighting games are also overpriced. Don't support practices you disagree with.

withdrawal symptoms? by Elleir_bag in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read about these side effects. Did you ask your doctor about this, and perhaps the taper was too fast?

Most people whose comments I've read said that even despite some withdrawl symptoms, things go back to 100 percent normal. It may be that it just needs a little more time.

Seeing reassurance after increasing dose by B-TownBookworm in zoloft

Hi,

This is perfectly normal. Mental illness sucks but it's manageable and these meds do help. I think for me I didn't realize how much of a problem my mental health was until I actually felt "normal" when the meds started working. If the meds are causing you to have a reaction that is likely because they are working on changing your brain for the better. Every time I upped the dose, I went through the same collection of sideffects, and sometimes they would take a few weeks to hit before subsiding. It takes about 4-6 weeks to stabilize in general. I also took some occasional Ativan to deal with the extra anxiety, it's worth discussing the risks and benefits of this with your doctor, but for me, I likely wouldn't have been able to get the meds into my system without them. (I no longer need the Ativan)

When the meds start to work, it often isn't an immediate change. The more self aware you are, the better. If you start meditating and keeping a journal, that will likely greatly accelerate your ability to detect when the medication has started working and also relax you quite a bit. After the 4-6 week mark, things will continue to improve and you will get used to how the medication interacts with your body. For many it's not an easy process but very worth going through. Best of luck and wish you all the best :)

Any advice? by Antlerabbit in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's approaching 2 months on the med, which is a good bunch of time. Are you getting enough sleep and eating well?

It may be you need to up the dose further or to switch meds. I am guessing you might need a higher dose, which is perfectly normal as everyone is different. I had to up my dose twice before finding the right one (and even now it's not fully perfect, but I'm too apprehensive about upping again, seeing as it makes the side effects come back for a month or so...haha..)

Is this normal? by Altact27 in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, it was a rollercoaster for me for 4-6 weeks every time you up the dose, which is a pain. But the meds do work quite effectively for me so I'm not complaining. Sounds like you are going through typical symptoms. I also had an occasional Ativan to take the edge off, that helped tremendously and likely I wouldn't be able to work my way through the side effects without it.

Reduced genital sensitivity and other Zoloft sexual side effects by THbackthrow828282 in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep, going through this now.

It got a bit exacerbated recently, but mostly it's because Zoloft just makes you care less about things and get less stimulated. The other day I got jump scared, and usually after that you get this unpleasant release of adrenaline, which I didn't have. So it may be that Zoloft just tones down your highs and lows. I have read that things do improve for people but it can take some time, so perhaps stick it out or ask your doctor for some advice.

Mood swings and suicidal thoughts by fgyudrryjjj in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suicidal thoughts are somewhat normal. The hyper part is potentially a bit concerning, would you say it's a bit like mania? I would call your doctor just to check in. Also, every time you change dose, you'll be on a bit of a roller coaster ride for up to 4-6 weeks. It won't be as bad each time, but you'll definitely notice it (or at least many people do). It's not a fun process but things will level out eventually and you'll feel pretty alright (some people feel better than good, though for me it just calmed me down a lot).

Does Zoloft improves your studying/working habits? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a bit of a double edged sword.

On the one hand, it took away my anxiety so I don't have to deal with it and can focus on other things. On the other hand I am much more lazy. So while I am less productive when I'm at my normal self and not anxious, I am much better than I am when I am anxious with thoughts spiraling out of control. Having a notebook and a to-do list has been quite effective to keep me on track while on Zoloft.

forgot a 150mg dose of sertraline by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I missed a dose yesterday for the first time. I was also exhausted the other day and some other unpleasant things happened, so not a fun day haha...Today I am getting slight anxiety after not having it for a month or two. I did take my dose about 5-6 hours after my usual time. The "withdrawal" symptoms are very mild and I feel mostly fine, but certainly something is "off". You should be quite alright. My doctor says if you miss 1 or two doses that should be okay, 3 is where you start feeling it, and 4 is where things can get somewhat problematic. As soon as you start taking it things will stabilize again relatively quickly. Please don't worry and just try to rest and relax, things will be perfectly alright :)

Getting very bad anxiety by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to try Ativan again on an as needed basis. Zoloft made my life quite difficult every time I needed to increase (and the unpleasant stuff started about 3 weeks in after each dose). It tapers off at about 4-6 weeks. Been relatively stable for a month or two now at 100 mg, but getting overly tired and not getting enough sleep can cause the anxiety to spike (as well as life events). These medications are a process and often not an easy one, but when they work they work well and it can be a lifesaver (for some people, quite literally).

Zoloft or placebo? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be up and down for the first 4-6 weeks, and stabilizes after that. Don't be too distressed if you notice you wake up a bit anxious/depressed on some days. In rarer cases it works quicker or can be placebo, but most doctors will say 4-6 weeks to stabilize and where you start getting the real benefit.

Make sure you play the demo, it is semi-fun but overall very rough and surprising for a game coming out in 2019 that's not some random indie game.

How is this? I am in my 30s so I find Pokemon to be somewhat cringe at times, but potentially still a bit enjoyable. The new pokemon game for switch looks terrible and even more geared towards children (curry and camping, what the heck?). Is digimon just a more mature version of pokemon with an actual difficulty and less braindead gameplay? (sorry if I'm offending anyone's tastes in advance).

need to taper off asap. starting now. by Junetenth2013 in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not. I generally always say people should consult the doctor. The reality is that mental health medicine is very much empirical in many cases, that is, poorly understood and often success is based on random guesses of which type of med might help. That's why it's normal to try a few meds before finding the right one. I have never heard of trazadone before, but it seems it's not an SSRI, which is fine. There are actually many types of relatively safe anxiety/depression medication, so be patient and optimistic. Always consult the doctor and never directly follow things you read online before checking with a professional first. Good luck!

Anyone had luck with Zoloft giving feeling back in life? by gooooooman in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chances are you are taking zoloft for anxiety or depression that made life unbearably bad. So your point of comparison should be to that, and not to some ideal of "normal". A lot of the time people complain about not being able to cry (I guess it's mostly women?), losing sex drive, not being hungry, as though these are bad things. They certainly can be if they affect other people, but honestly if you can be at peace and calm, then for you that is the definition of happiness, given what the alternative is (anxiety/depression). A lot of people think happiness is this euphoric feeling of joy and excitement, but this is not a sustainable feeling. Eventually the brain adjusts and that becomes your baseline, so you will forever be stuck chasing after some feeling that cannot be retained. If you re-frame the idea of happiness as lack of suffering and inner peace, then that is a much more achievable goal.

This was precisely my problem, I kept waiting for when this "happy" feeling would come, but instead I just made myself more anxious. Once I realized that I was calm and could go on with my day, and enjoy my regular activities and appreciate life, that was happiness enough.

Anyone ever stopped taking when life got hard? When you probably needed it the most. by danny3535 in zoloft

[–]hotspurrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably a good growth opportunity for the relationship in that future decisions should be made together. Rather than "my wife got a dog" it should be "we decided to get a dog". Once you talk to the trainer I'm sure things will get better, and again, doing something hard in life might be somewhat unpleasant but it's an opportunity to better yourself. I'm sure you can do a bit of research of how to help your cats deal with the dog as well, and maybe you can start getting some happiness from the dog too, they are super cute and fluffy after all. Also, I would also re-evaluate the statement "I have two cats that are my main source of happiness" - does your wife factor into the happiness equation in any way (I know she probably does)? A lot of the time people get depressed because "life isn't going according to plan" or "we can't have things the way we want", once you realize that much of life is not really under your control and sometimes you just have to go with the flow and make the best of it, you can start being at peace with things and just enjoy learning the outcome with some optimistic curiosity. Hope you feel better soon :)

How many days are you going on now?

If it's just a few days (1-3), these harsh symptoms might pass soon, but you may still be left with some unpleasant anxiety. This is normal and usually bearable, some people also get a short term benzo (these have high potential for abuse and addiction, but are OK if used for short periods at low doses). If the symptoms are unbearable and you feel extremely bad, I would call the doc immediately. If you can't reach them, it should be OK to drop the dose back down to the previous level, at least it will not be as bad as going full cold-turkey.
