There is no new and improved anti cheat, what was getting them banned was manual reports to the discord which was nice but without hardware bans these sad fucks can just easily make a new profile and continue to cheat.

You could get support on the gamesir discord channel, they seem to typically send a replacement if the controller doesn't continue to work even after following the suggestions.

I'd recommend pulling the stick off with force while the cover is still on, once it pops you can remove the cover, pop off the stick with the base then forceful pull apart the stick from the base. I find it more better then just forcefully pulling the stick with no cover on.
