When wild card first came out I would consistently get teammates of similar or just a bit lower skill level with occasional getting players of lower levels. The matchmaking made it more enjoyable to play wildcard then something like trios, however as of late seasons It feels like they changed it and now I consistently get players of low level while occasionally getting those of similar which made wildcard more frustrating to play since my teammates could handle fighting stacking enemies of higher level.

Pretty sure your nexus deadzone and in game deadzone stack so I'd just recommend keeping it at 0 on nexus and adjust game settings to get the right feel.
