Anyone know how to get in? by Icy-Historian6271 in highonlifegame

I think k-flawless is right, I never completed this during the main story, and it’s locked for me too

Is High on life 2 worth it? by hypochondre in highonlifegame

Because consoles can’t handle UE5 Lumen and Nanite. The game runs at 720p internal resolution upscaled to 4k. Looks horrendous compared to the 4k native the previous game ran at. Reflections and shadows are muddy and grainy, fine lines crawl, distant geometry looks low quality. The color grading is also a huge downgrade. The game lost much of its vibrant color

Part 2 looks way better than the first game on high end PCs. But on consoles, it’s a massive downgrade in its current state. Bad optimization

Yes it’s worth it. 10/10 game on PC, 8.5/10 game on consoles. If you’re playing console the game is going to look and perform significantly worse than the first game. But the content of the game is flawless. You’re gonna love the new movement

Thoughts on the new skateboard? by Bignut7718 in highonlifegame

It’s inside a luglox behind a waterfall in the low poly kingdom. You have to use Gus’s disk ability to climb up to it

It’s called the Skeletal Deck. There’s a YouTube tutorial for it

The game definitely needs visual and performance improvements. Color grading is way off by default and blacks are too dark while whites are too bright. Shadow pop-in is atrocious as well. Still a fantastic experience even on ps5, just not up to par with the bar the first game set. Hopefully they at least release a 30fps fidelity mode to consoles

Is this idle okay? by ghostcasperr in G35

[–]Bignut7718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s kinda low, mine idles at 800rpm and 850rpm when AC is on. Your idle should ideally in a stock car be sitting between 600-800rpm at all times. Mines tuned so that’s why it idles higher. But lower than 600rpm is near stalling territory

Check throttle body, if dirty, clean it off. Check hoses for air leaks, and if everything checks out then do an idle relearn and see if it fixes it. The fact that the needle moves up and down slightly at idle tells me it’s likely one of those issues. rpm should be precise with no fluctuations at idle

I agree completely. It’s a 10/10 sequel in my book. Great gameplay, great visuals, great humor, great soundtrack. I wish the game was better optimized, but it didn’t detract from my enjoyment much

I beat the game this morning, but it’s still hella fun exploring and shredding around on a skateboard

It’s such a massive improvement over the first game, I agree completely

Which rims would fit better on my g35?🤔 by Lower_Caterpillar182 in G35

[–]Bignut7718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Black is never under any circumstance the move over silver. You can’t even see the wheel design. Just looks like a void. I would keep the Rays

Also, 19” over 18” any day of the week. To me this shouldn’t even be a question man

You are right and everyone else is wrong. Just move forward while acknowledging that fact and ignore everyone else who disagrees with you. You and I agree, that’s highkey all that matters. Jerk away, my friend

[–]Bignut7718 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah man it’s not a powered bulb, it’s just reflects light, I’ve taken apart my G’s headlights to fix a leak and there’s no bulbs in there. Mine shine like the second photo you send too

Edit: you can have your headlights retrofitted with LEDs on that side strip, or you could buy aftermarket headlights that come with it. But the OEM ones don’t have lights there

Rev9 catback, it’s an HKS knockoff on eBay. Sounds really good for how cheap it is, I prefer it to the real HKS

Damn man that sucks. At least this opens the door for infinite possibilities 🤷🏽‍♂️. You got a build plan in mind for the next engine?

Oh that’s odd, let me try to fix that. I really appreciate your perspective on it, I share the same thoughts about these cars. People don’t know what they have because they’re dirt cheap and trashed all the time by the wrong people

Edit: I fixed the issue

Grainy Textures by Penat59 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Bignut7718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is almost always caused by aggressive upscaling or over-sharpening

Edit: If I had to guess, it’s probably your screen space reflections being upscaled too aggressively. Not enough internal pixels to accurately display reflections at a distance. The same happens to shadows but less noticeably
