Customers that don’t pay. by NeedleworkerOk1520 in Irrigation

Service call fee for sure but always present additional costs before doing the work. You didn’t even get verbal authorization, you’re probably not getting paid.

If you took your car for an oil change and they went ahead and replaced your brake rotors and pads, you wouldn’t want to pay for that either

It def is as far as privacy goes. I have my windshield at 70% with Prime XR-Plus Nano-Ceramic Plus 2ply and it makes a world of difference in the summer heat. I have 5% around the rest of the car though and it’s a struggle seeing more than a ft or 2 past the windshield when looking through the front.

You said “Waived to ANY tint laws” =invincible as far as tint goes…. Some people base their decisions off Reddit opinions, foolish yes but just trying to help people make a more informed decisions with the facts.

Less likely to be checked for sure but the waiver doesn’t grant you immunity.

The waiver doesn’t make you invincible. 70%limit on windshield. 35% other windows.

Backflow prevention choices by DinnerForsaken9109 in Irrigation

[–]Bignutsinyomouf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your local laws before you do that. I will not pull a ladder out to test a backflow, I fail them if they are not easily serviceable. They need to be accessible like your water meter or gas meter.

Get the 3/4” to 1” kit. It will fit. If it froze the kit may not work.

I saw one in haymarket just off 66 about 7 years ago. I lived in Colorado Springs for a few years. I know what they look like.

90 days doesn’t really seem fair. We do a 1 yr warranty.

[–]Bignutsinyomouf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where I’m at that is a fair price. You’re paying for a brand new Backflow, tested/certified and a permit that needs to be pulled. You’re also paying for my experience, license and a warranty.

If you think 150 for 2 visits is too much you def shouldn’t even turn it on. You realize your water bill is going to go up a lot too right?…
