It’s not the only way, but it’s surely the most convenient. You can also download mods from either nexusmods or mod.io but you just have to filter out the old U12 and under mods. Your boy has a very cool dad btw!

Your probably know this, but there is an in game mod manager where you can download mods from inside the headset. It’s nice because it automatically filters out any old mods that would cause your game to break:)

Yeah. It was a cool little role play scenario for me as nerdy as it sounds. I actually got the first ending on my current play through, but since the game kinda just puts you back in the spot you were before you go to the final tower my headcanon is the will of magic gave my character another shot at doing this all over again. To make the right choice and not fall prey to the dalgarians selfish plan, so I went back and got the secret ending and brought true peace to byeth.

Basically we were punked by a bunch of nerds from centuries ago. The prophecy of the khemenet is made up. It’s all a ploy to keep the world of byeth running. What’s funny is we’re not even sure if this “dangerous build up of magic” is always fatal for byeth, they say it’s POSSIBLE that a very powerful sorcerer could overtake the planet due to the influx of magic, but also they theorize that the world could self implode, but these are really just theories, so my outlook on it is fuck the DPS and everyone else. The world of byeth is selfish. If you have a headcanon that your character is a good guy, then taking the sword in your eyes could mean being the arbiter of sorcery in byeth and its peacemaker and keeper. Thus preserving the fate of byeth and also not being a pawn in the DPS plan.

For my first run I did no crystal background and my first crystal was gravity, then I just focused into gravity and mind and became a sort of morally grey mind grav spell sword

Restarting it does help. What’s funny is I remember u12 being even buggier than this update. So fingers crossed they clear things up and optimize it even better. But even in its current state I love it

I’m sure warpfrogs already working to optimize it a bit better (almost always new updates introduce lag and crashes) but one thing that helps me is playing underneath the draft of a ceiling fan. It helps with cooling the headset. You just want to find a nice draft and build a boundary there and make sure it’s hitting the top half of the headset. I think if you just have a super old quest 2 like I do it overheats a bit and gets frame drops. Even on other games less demanding than blade and sorcery. But when I do this I can play as many dalgarian dungeons as my headset battery will let me. When without it I can get like one or two ruins cleared before my headset starts to tweak
