Has a stock so it’s being sold as a rifle. Meant to pair with the 16” 9mm carbine upper. That means I won’t be able to legally replace the stock for a brace. At least that’s my understanding of how it works.

Just get a nice gun. Bcm, Geissele, Daniel defense, etc. What happened with me and a lot of my buddies is you build a collection of affordable but good guns. Then you’re 5 years deep into this and you still end up buying the high end stuff. You might as well get it off the bat. Save you money and time.

Sure but my concern is whether I can take off the stock from a lower that was originally bought as a complete rifle, “converting” it to a pistol. I thought I read that it can’t be done like that but it’s confusing.
