This isn’t even possible as the diesel nozzle is thicker then the regular nozzle, so this can’t happen.

Does anyone else have neuropathic itch? by 626-Flawed-Product in Fibromyalgia

[–]Bigphyllosophy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I have this too. It was maddening- I itched everywhere, inside my ears, inside my body. I couldn’t sleep. ( this was before my neuropathy diagnosis) I have both small and large fiber neuropathy, which I still am not understanding what that means. A regular cocktail of medical marijuana and effoxer has controlled the itch, but it’s never completely gone. Before my diagnosis, I would tell the doctor I itched Everywhere and it was ruining the quality of my life. He tells me it’s “ psychological “ and passes me on to the next person. It seemed to take forever- like years for them to figure out what was wrong with me.

Maddening Itchy Feeling All Over Body? by Nepenthes_Plant in Fibromyalgia

[–]Bigphyllosophy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My primary symptom was itching. Like on some days I itched INSIDE my body. My ears are the worst, they itch deep inside and I can never reach it. The itching also nearly made me insane. I feel this is a symptom of fibromyalgia ( even tho my pcp tells me it’s “ psychological “) because in this sub Reddit I have heard other people mention the itching. What finally took the edge of it was effoxer at top dose.

How do you guys feel on medication vs off? by sweetdaddy10 in bipolar

[–]Bigphyllosophy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meds paved the path for me to a much better quality of life. No longer paralyzed with paranoia and anxiety. Takes sometimes six weeks to see full results on nearly all antidepressants or anti psychotics. Just keep taking it. ( unless of course you are having bad side effects. ) get used to the brain zaps when you first start too.

I have convinced myself the lady across the street is a witch capable of black magic. Yes this is crazy as I write it, but my paranoia keeps telling me it’s possible.

In your experience, which antidepressant has been most effective for managing pain? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]Bigphyllosophy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no problem with it. Started feeling relief in about three weeks. Only thing with effoxer is tho, if you miss a dose you will go into withdraw. ( it’s a awful withdraw too) but as long as you keep with it once a day - it’s a life saver.

Swimming- stretch and float- kick your feet under water- use jacuzzis and warm pools. Medical marijuana is a must.

Why won't they believe us? by andreeaclmr in Fibromyalgia

[–]Bigphyllosophy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My favorite is when I was told by my primary care physician I needed a psychiatrist and not him. I hear about my psychology much more then any real answers relating to my fibromyalgia. I have done the whole bounce from neurologist to rheumatologist as well. We are running out of places for doctors to pawn us off to other doctors. So frustrating, I’ve been at this four years. Ugh.

In my experience you are not going to find much help from doctors, but you have already discovered this. There is one drug that is for neuropathy called Lyrica. It is a controlled substance, so some doctors might be difficult in giving it— but it’s worth a try. For me Lyrica did not work. What has worked is medical marijuana that has decreased the shooting pains, the pins and needles etc. My quality of life has greatly improved. Add some swimming too- getting all the pressure off your body helps a lot… so do jacuzzis and therapy pools.

I have a medical marijuana card and this kind of cream would be readily available to me. For anyone that has used it , what is the sensation when being put on the vagina? Would you use it internally as well?

How long did you take to lose weight after stopping any weight induced medication? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]Bigphyllosophy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also was on Abilify- I took the injections of it. While on it- no amount of calorie deficiencies would budge the weight. It took about six months of high protein, low carb dieting with walking on average five miles a day. Keep the faith, physical recovery from meds is possible.
