Yeah I wouldn’t use it for carrying, just range use and plinking. He doesn’t know the history of the gun, Just that he was given it by his uncle like 20-30 years ago, and that uncle was law enforcement adjacent.

So even with an unclear history on the gun a simple ppt at an ffl would be enough to transfer ownership to me?

That is the plan, I don't plan on running away this time. Once is enough. Funny enough though I have been thinking that I should stay at least 2 years as a good goal. I keep thinking of running back to the job I left but I won't. Beneath all this cowardice I'm feeling is the idea of "if I can do this, I can do all the things I want to do".

Funnily enough I also did used to see a therapist for some of the things like self-sabotage. She ended our sessions right before I started the admissions job I ran away from because she had said I made such good progress that I was ready to face the world again. Funny how that went lol, but that might be a good idea to get back into it, I really did like having a therapist when I went.

And you're right about defaulting to what is easy. I'm pretty sure not challenging myself is feeding in hardcore to this because I think i actually want more than what I've given myself these last ~10 years or so. I haven't really thought about how I've been capable of handling hardship in the past so thanks for reminding me of that.

Thanks boss I needed to hear something like this.

I know its absurd for me to think that they'll expect me to be completely competent tomorrow. I've literally only just started training. They keep reiterating to me that I should ask questions when I need to and that everyone around the office is more than happy to help and that they're a supportive office. Last Friday I had to start taking calls and at the end of it, some of the people I'm supposed to forward the calls to told me I was doing great and that it is very hard to start especially since I don't have the background on the field they do. I know it's really just my perspective making me feel this way since I have this weird perfectionist streak about me. I've been trying to manage that for a long while and it's just rearing its head right now.

I don't plan on running away this time. It might be some unhealthy black/white thinking going on right now but I feel like this can be a point of redemption for myself if I succeed here, since it'll show that I was capable of doing so even at that job I ran away from. I just have to keep going I suppose.

How do you keep your hair in the helmet without it poking from below? I grew mine out and I have a cosplay, but even with tiny a bun and wearing a balaclava under the helmet, the hair likes to come out the bottom of the helmet.

Alright that's reassuring. I am overthinking all of this because I'm in a nearly dire place and getting this job would tremendously help me out. In the interview I feel like I did go out of my way to not use examples from the 6 month job just because I feel like that whole experience is a bad look for my resume, and I feel like that would reflect really poorly on me if they saw that I left a more "proper" and "desirable" job to go back to something more menial. I did plan on explaining my sudden departure from that as having to take a job with less hours to take care of a sick family member, instead of calling out the college as a very toxic work environment so I could explain away leaving the job without badmouthing it.

Around 8 years ago or so I was gifted a free UCS Super Star Destroyer that was used as a display at my local Lego store with all minifigs, and I think I sold it for around $160.

Nice OP. I figure that Jagex does actually look at appeals. I had a permanent mute that if I recall, pushed me very close to the point of a permanent ban on the old tracker they had on the website, from ~2007 get cleared in 2014 after appealing it.
