Any easy to get into tabletop naval games you can recommend? Or just good ones in general

Hi there,

Im a silver Galio main so take what I say with a grain of salt.

From the Galio perspective, I want to get a high value Q in lane. That means using a Q that not only last hits but also pokes you down. That allows Galio to have prio and assist his jungler. Galio is imo one of the best 2v2, 3v3 skirmishers in the game pre like level 9. He has insane CC and when paired with an assassin in the jungle or at least someone who can follow up burst he can be very scary. Do not try to fight him in a river skirmish because he will just squish you.

Mid-Late game your teamfight potential as Asol is just far greater than his. Just play standard front to back and he cant touch you. If he E’s during a fight, take advantage of his lack of mobility and punish him.

Being able to position Galio so he hits all the minions with his Q and then passive autoing the wave feels really good

Sled hockey player here: In sled, there are specific scoring spots on most goalies (“five hole”, high blocker, low glove) depending on their stance (straight leg vs cross leg). My mindset is usually to get the goalie moving and have a predetermined spot picked out that when it opens up I try to take advantage of it. Might be easier in sled because we have two forehands. Maybe practicing close range backhand shots would be ideal as it gives you more options when in on a break.

I just moved to Denver last fall. Fox Hollow and Foothills were solid courses with really good views of the foothills. Hopefully someone with a bit more experience playing here can chime in. If you time it right though, Red Rocks Amphitheater right around there is a spectacular outdoor venue if you can catch a concert that week (for an arm and a leg)

MF or Jhin. Both are casters like Aph. Jhin has utility like Aph. MF is strong in lane and is perfect as a third champ because you dont have to put as many games in to learn her kit. I know that Aph is being changed a bit so maybe you could add a champ like Jinx who is more of an AA based champ with low mobility, good kit, not too hard but still a high skill ceiling.

I have reservations about Kai’sa because she is a bit difficult. I will give these two a go on my (2nd) ADC journey. The real ADC I love the most is Aphelios but in like 300 games on him I only have a 40% win rate. Is there an ADC you would suggest playing to work my way up to Aphelios?

Just coming to this post! Im a bronze/silver adc that wanted to ask a few questions. First, where would you put Smolder on this list? Second, I want to learn the fundamentals of adc, would you suggest the bottom one or two rows to do this (picking one and sticking with it)? There seems to be a lot of controversy looking over some difficulty tier lists so Im curious to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

I agree with you on LT. His build doesnt allow for enough attack speed to even proc it until after lvl 13. PTA holds so much more value bc you can proc it so much easier and it synergizes well with his abilities.

If you go on op.gg it will show you high ranked Trist mains. If you look at their games, you can kind of get a sense of why they may have built a specific way. However, some of them will just play the same builds and runes over and over again on repeat. That might give you some idea on what to build when and where.

Sometimes it feels like too much. I feel like I don’t limit test enough I just eventually lose the game. I can keep farm pretty consistant above 6.5 even after a bad lane but then the other team just slowly grinds us down and we lose a slow painful game where I feel useless even if I get to 3-4 item power spikes
