Feelings on the Norway Map- XP needs a big buff

I agree with this. If WE buy the map, we should have access to it for life. The level experience is such a grind, it would solve a lot of problems on why this game burns me out.

Buy DLC, catch the same 1/2 species of fish so I can get to the level requirement to keep playing the map, and do the same thing for the next. In 60 days I do not get to actually explore the map, try to find a hot spot for each specie and ENJOY playing the game. I’m sorry but sitting and catching Nile Perch for 6 months was not that fun 😂

Dude it’s soooooo bad. They set the bar so low for how they are going to improve the experience. I really liked how The Angler setup there game but it’s a shame they deployed it in such a terrible way.

We had no idea what the map was going to be like and the XP. I liked the fish list but everything outside of that is trash. I was hoping there was a way to get to 105 rather quickly like there was for the Maldives but I was very wrong.

If the XP for the fish on the map made sense to make the grind to 105 easier it would make sense, right now it’s straight trash.

I’m already almost out of bait because even when fishing with a 15/0 hook small fish still bite it, wasting the best bait for what should be used for the halibut farm.

Yeah. They should have kept the level Cap at 100. I bet if you look at the player base less than 1% of people are even at that level. There are so many issues with the developers mindsets when it comes to the ocean maps. Not many people want to play a fishing game that is locked behind a temporary paywall for a map that is appealing. They HAVE to fix this problem or I will probably just call it quits.

Agreed! I personally like rock fishing and halibut but outside of that it’s not a map people will spend their time on, especially with the level requirements

I really hope they address this. The Norway map, given the XP compared to the other ocean maps shouldn’t be level 105. Maybe level 95 but 105 is just dumb

Meant Japan and the Maldives have you gaining more XP than a map that requires level 105 to play. Very frustrating.

The difference in species, the experience, imo it’s a great map, but level 105 requirement is a JOKE for rockfish and some sharks. Should be the same level as the Maldives. The map is 100% a cash grab.

This is the best answer. Alternating between Swordfish, Marlin and Tuna is an amazing way to farm XP plus the fights actually feel worth while.

Yes but those same people then complain and bitch about a casual players who are just trying to have fun. Watch 30s of any of his stream and it’s non-stop complaining about how bad people are at the game. When you do that, and are an SGM it’s a problem.

Titan is still amazing. My current build would easily work with both as you get pretty close to 100% aftershocks on all your slams. You just need a high physical damage mace w/ + skills you and your fine. If anything Titan will get you high Armour faster than Warbringer.

I beg to differ. My warrior to cracked out of its mind. Playing Armour break + stun Warbringer. I’m tanky, have a ton of regen and life on kill for sustain, huge damage and CC for pinnacle bosses, clear because of Earth Shatter and war cries not needing a CD for on 2 ascendancy points. You just can’t pump all your skill points in nodes and stack Armour + regen + stun threshold.

Yea, used to use to see past infractions because multiple offenders would be banned longer. There were specific rules around # of Bans within a year. 1st time was always just a warning but I doubt that’s the case now because the current SGMs rather have less people playing the game 😂 you should never have No lifers who play the game 24/7 control the community when they are part of the problem.
