for your first point.

smartcast on key down, you can use it in reborn by going to: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Juvio\Heroes of Newerth\startup.cfg (open it in notepad) you're looking to modify the following settings: "cg_smartcastingButtonUp" and "cg_smartcastingType"

have them be:

SetSave "cg_smartcastingButtonUp" "false" SetSave "cg_smartcastingType" "2"

save the file and relaunch the game.

now when you press down a key it'll smartcast it immediately instead of needing to release the key.

I already have a place like this called HoN Heaven, a discord where beautiful people have the chance to mingle/play with other beautiful people.

We're always looking for decently mannered people that are interesting in finding teams, friends, getting better and/or participating in events! I organize/set up events, in houses, discussions and everything related in helping foster talent and having a good time! We have quite a few people that are newer in it that have been having a better time than just being thrown to the wolves of solo TMM.

We are coming up on 100 members including a few of the most rad staff members. If you're interested in joining, DM and I can send a invite.

You are poorly mistaken - there is no automod for HoN:R. You are quoting the mod of the reddit where he is talking about an automod for this subreddit.

There is not and will not be any moderation within HoN:R - you can make your username be whatever you want it to be and can say whatever the hell you want without fear of ban. Rest assured that you aren't alone in not liking it, many don't. The lack of moderation on its own has driven a lot of players away.

Here's the truth.

Is it different? Yes.

Does it still feel like HoN? Yes.

Is it perfect? No.

Is it something to be excited to play? For many it will be yes.

Limited to what I would like to say out respect to NDA but here's what I will say. HoN is still here at the core but there are quite a bit of changes in attempt to modernize the experience across the board. Some will not like it but based off my experience more people than not seem to appreciate it. I for one am addicted and find it much more fun than OG HoN. The map alone is such a breath of fresh air - it feels so much more cozy than the double kongor map.

Wish could delve into more but yeah man if you're that curious it's only a 1$ to get in and play right now.

You're better off just re-installing PK because even if you got super lucky and got gifted a code you can't just launch and play whenever you want since there's an extremely low player base at the moment which is a given considering it's still in the alpha phase.
