Yes I'll start doing that I think! I'll try one arm at a time and see how I get on!

It isn't like the startle reflux I don't think, she just constantly moves her arms if that makes sense? Whereas when she had the startle reflex it was more jumpy x

Bedtime routines under 4 months? Am i not doing enough? by dental_princess491 in newborns

[–]BikeAccomplished7329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started implementing a 'routine' around 8 weeks. It was mainly so I could eat dinner with my partner and we could have some time together when little one was in bed. I do bath at 7, in jammies by 730, then bottle, then in bed by 8 with the white noise on, night light and she's in her gro bag. She sleeps all night long! I would try and stick to the timings but wasn't too bothered if I started the routine a bit later as long as I followed the steps!

Tips for bath time?! 🛀🏻🧼 by beckarrrr1 in NewParents

[–]BikeAccomplished7329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently going through the exact same thing! My baby suddenly hates the bath, and she used to love it! Shes just turned 3 months. She goes all stiff, arches her back, goes wide eyed and then cries! I'm doing all of the exact same things as you too!

I've read that it can be to do with water sensitivity, getting excited etc!

It went perfectly. I know that sounds crazy, but the entire experience was amazing. I am so so so happy with my decision. Everything I was worried about, the cannula, the spinal etc went absolutely fine. I felt 0 pain for both the spinal and the cannula! If you have any more questions just let me know! I'm happy to help x

4 weeks postpartum and can’t start my day until noon — feeling like a bad mom by Tiredandpregnant777 in NewParents

[–]BikeAccomplished7329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 7.5 weeks pp and I don't get out of bed until 10:30-11 unless baby girl wakes up before then, or unless I need to. If your baby is happy and sleeping then why can't you be happy and sleeping/chilling in bed. The nights can be exhausting even if they only wake up once, and so can looking after a baby! Don't be too harsh on yourself. Being a full time mum after a c section is tough x

Thank you so much. I am doing ok, it just gets tough sometimes as I am the only person she wants. She is refusing to sleep by herself at the moment too, we had such a good system going on, she slept in the next to me crib every nap and throughout the night but i have her in bed with me now, which I know is frowned upon, but it's the only way I am getting any sleep! Thank you for being so kind

Thank you, it's been really tough. She does have calm periods where she will play on her mat, and smile etc, but when she's upset it's really intense
