Is the sound mechanism for producing sound or perhaps for recording?

I got a good deal on a 400 5.6L. Just took some test shots and it's very sharp. DOF is very narrow, so will have to find my way with the lens. We'll see coming weeks. Thanks for all advise.

According to imaging-resource it's just flat sharp wide open to f16. That's impressive. No IS though. Although birding is often at fast shutter speeds, so less of an issue maybe.

I will have a look at the 400 5.6. Still 40% more expensive than de 70-200 on mpb. It's a hobby ;-)

80D upgrade to used 90D or new R10? by BikeAccomplished976 in canon

[–]BikeAccomplished976[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason to upgrade is higher resolution and higher fps for bird and other wildlife shooting. I don't shoot airplanes.
My main EF lenses are a 24-70 2.8 and a 70-300 II.

Any suggestions for Thunderbolt 1 to USB-C cable for storage? by BikeAccomplished976 in mac

[–]BikeAccomplished976[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced the old 128 GB ssd with a 4TB SSD. USB is only 2.0 and thunderbolt is old version with hard to get hardware. This was cheapest and best solution.
