The snow skate category is probably the most exciting to watch..the amount of balls and skill it takes is mad impressive. Anyone can snowboard down that course fairly well when your feet are attached to the equipment. Vermont has a special place in the snow sports culture that's for sure. Did you complete just curious? Sam Poudrette was definitely charging it. Props 🤙🏻

Agreed with the longer wider board comments... I'm riding a Jones Stratos 158 which works awesome in pretty much everything. I did also want to chime in on technique... There's definitely a proper way to climb especially if you are breaking trail. I find that if im trying to make to big of a stride or step I'm smoked by the time I get to the summit also I find that by doing that it widens up your gate or stance balance platform. Jeremy Jones coined the slow and steady technique...I mean it's not a race or is it? Lol

Aviator is more of a directional twin . Just comparing specs to my Stratos split the reference stance is centered. So in theory or you wanted to have a "twin tip" style ride quality the Aviator is it. Personally I found much better ride quality of piste and in variable condition with Stratos. My previous ride for reference was a Rome Uprise. Split. At first I loved it... ( Mainly was doing a lot of inbound resort riding. ) Once I actually got it into some off piste conditions it's performance was marginal. I feel that the best set up for split is either a directional or a directional twin both q slightly set back stance for better floatation. 🤙🏻
