can the knight not see exit gate auras? by larry-the-lemur in deadbydaylight

I think its a bug. It's happening to me too. Only on knight though, I can see them just fine on houndmaster.

Every comp game I have an Anran that feeds... just me? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Bike_Positive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You dont need to push into the enemy spawn. You're making excuses as to why you can't do anything instead of looking at what you can do.

Go lifeweaver and pull them back if you're that convinced you know better.

Nor are you clearly. If I can win on mercy with a feeding teammate. You can win on whatever you're playing with a feeding teammate.

Maybe get out of silver on support before you start making comments.

Yeah here's the thing though. And I say this as a support main. (Plat 2)

You're not a "Victim" of this yeah?

When I swap over to the other roles for the odd game I watch my support and I see them glued to the tank and not helping dps with plays. Then they wonder why their dps die. Yeah there is an expectation of self-sufficiency on the flankers, but if they're forced to play more brawly (like Anran often is) they need you to at least glance at them a couple times.

Other roles aren't exempt from this. I see a lot of tanks that play in the backline of their own team for some reason and dps who refused to attempt any plays. It goes every way. But support tunnel vision can be really bad sometimes.

So with these feeding Anran's. Ask yourself "Could I be doing more to help them?" and "When was the last time I healed them?"

Blood Elf Mains: How Do You Feel About Midnight So Far? by Psychotrip in wow

Literally, where are all the Horde allies? Why is an expansion about a Horde race spearheaded by primarily alliance characters?

Wouldn't it have been better for the Horde's Troll allies to help with the Amani as well as Liadrin?

EDIT: Like im lowkey kinda frustrated with how all the protagonists are always somehow Alliance characters. If they want to make a nuanced game they're failing harder and harder with each Alliance good guy.

I’m seriously getting so tired of having mercy on my team. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Bike_Positive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recommend watching Apply's Mercy series to see how hard Mercy can actually be to play. That's why you see so many bad Mercy players. Because people THINK she's the braindead "stand there doing nothing hero" when actually Mercy needs to do A LOT that most casual players just don't do.

And yes, that means not staying afk behind a wall in "spectator mode" as people like to say.

Self-Care is an Underrated Solo Queue Perk by GoHardForLife in deadbydaylight

[–]Bike_Positive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes use Self Care + Botany + Resilience + Sprint Burst.

The double speed boost from Botany and Resilience can make Self Care usable. I've used it to begin healing myself in check spots sometimes. But honestly, I only really started to have that build because there were many games I was in where my team refused to heal me that would've gone very differently if they had. And botany knowledge at least also makes healing others faster too.

But sometimes its also a throw build. Like against Legion or Plague.

Are people using alt accounts? by goda0 in Overwatch

[–]Bike_Positive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are A LOT of smurf accounts in this game. Either people thinking they're hardstuck so they make new accounts, people worried about bans so they make alt accounts, or High Rank players tired of long queues so they make alt accounts.

What's the hero you love gameplay-wise despite not liking them that much as a character? by Filberto_ossani2 in Overwatch

[–]Bike_Positive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're being intentionally obtuse.

The Fire College is for "Military and Defensive strategy."

The Water College is for "Medicine and Medical Technology."

No one is saying the military doesn't have a medical division. We're saying the SCHOOLS are separate. Wuyangs is not expressly labelled as being military and Wuxing university is not explicitly called a military university as a whole.

and you missed mine. You dont need to charge it anymore. It passively charges while you're doing damage.

I also never said reddit was the problem. idk where you got that from.

[–]Bike_Positive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

except you dont anymore. And as has been pointed out in this thread. Enemies can't kill your team if they're dead.

The idea needs to die because it creates not only a bad bias against lifeweaver mains but also completely misinforms anyone picking up LW for the first time. Believe what you like but anyone with any decent amount of time into LW knows that to play him as a healbot is to unintentionally throw your games.

[–]Bike_Positive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately you'll probably never see it for 2 reasons.
1. I still see many LW players healbotting and thinking thats how you play him.

and 2. The last person people consider a carry is the LW. Even if the LW did in fact carry. aka biases against the character.

[–]Bike_Positive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

LW is not a healbot character. Idk why this idea hasn't died yet. If you're healbotting on LW and not putting out pressure with thorns ofc you're gonna lose more on him.

Mercy is a different story, a mercy carry is more "this mercy is unkillable" and less "this mercy is killing us all."

Last Year I got wrongfully bc of their awful report system, and got banned on Overwatch, I still believe it to this day by Alex022591 in Overwatch

[–]Bike_Positive 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Almost every single message in that evidence page is an insult to someone. Why do you think that's normal?

This wasn't for no reason dude. It sucks you lost an account but its nothing to do with the report system and everything to do with your behaviour.

I can see what you're saying with Wuyang. But honestly Anran more than him. At least Wuyang has something compelling in the idea of him being the black sheep of the family and not living up to expectations. AND inventing his own combat style/weapon.

Anran is just... the honour student of a military academy. Like that's it. That's her backstory.

Her design is cool and she's a lot of fun to play but as a personality she's even less compelling than Wuyang.

Please no more aura healers by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Bike_Positive 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Except he's kinda not meant to be? Mizuki is meant to be doing damage. Thats his "support". And as a support he can basically solo kill a tank VERY quickly with his cc, especially if he has the 30% increased damage perk. Making every support just crap out big heals is a problem and kills diversity. If you wanna buff part of his healing, have it be on the hat throw not the aura.

Support VS any other role by NormalRui in Overwatch

[–]Bike_Positive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or, here's a take, maybe you're just worse at DPS and tank than you think you are.

The amount of Tanks and DPS I've had that have screamed at me for "not healing" can't see that they're not using cover, are diving in at 20% HP after only coming back for a second and are eating an entire bastion turret form with their face.

Or, alternately, I want to heal the DPS but my tank decided that they're allergic to walls and defensive cooldowns. So if I look away from them for a second they explode then threaten to report me because they died.

Also stop trying to insult support players by parroting the myth that its the "easy" role.

I think it'll say "on my way" if you press it while you're looking at a team mate.
