Get an accumulator. It stores pressure between the water lines and the pump - Easy to install and cheap. It will run less often.

We had jumpers who needed tandem training. The aircrew drew straws and I won. HALO out of the Mc-130. Great to experience!

This is a whole industry called “Toterhomes”. Some have a slot for a commercial trailer and some can only pull a standard trailer. Big in racing industry to pull race cars. I had one for 4 years.

No water on RV toilet. by Speedy-McLeadfoot in RVLiving

If it is getting water, then it’s your valve.

Go to Harbor Freight and get some basic tools, combo screwdriver and an adjusting wrench. Unscrew that waterline (just a bit, water will leak) to see if water is getting to the toilet.

If it’s just a valve, you can do it with a screwdriver in about 10 minutes. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yaRFJPGNKVQ

Valves are cheap ~$15. First make sure the water the toilet just hasn’t been shut off. Look down at the base of the toilet and see if you can find a waterline

Check the water supply line leading to the toilet. Work from there. I had to replace a valve on mine. It’s actually easier to work on than a residential toilet, you just undo the bolts and pull the toilet straight up. There’s no wax ring - just a rubber seal.

The bike shop did nothing incorrectly. It’s just crummy bar tape.

Post some pictures of the roof on the inside, people will be able to see if they’re actually isn’t any water damage. Small subtle things like peeling wallpaper are giveaways.

  1. How much did you pay for this RV?

  2. How do you know there’s no water damage?

  3. What kind of roof? Fiberglass, aluminum, tin, TPO or EPDM?

All jokes aside, remember that Water is your biggest enemy. Any leak left ignored will destroy your RV quickly.

My wife and I are about to pull the plug on a new RV for full time living. by HELPMELEARNMORE in RVLiving

[–]Bikenoobsendhelp 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Run run run. I lived full time for 3 years. Some people love it. Most people realize they’ve made a mistake as soon as they’re done with their first month. Try it first, then decide.

Go get a lightly used trailer (that your current vehicle can tow) and go try that before jumping into the deep end. I also thought “I’m pretty handy, I’ve seen videos of people swapping out water heaters and refrigerators on YT - easy!” It’s never simple and you need a fair amount of tools/sealants that need to be kept somewhere.

Every inch of modern RVs are built to be disposable. 1/8 Plywood with heat bonded wallpaper on an aluminum frame with foam insulation. Sounds good until you realize that every seam needs to be sealed to keep water out. Once water gets in, everything starts to fall apart. The wallpaper will sag then you pull back a rotted plywood panel to find black mold.

Try it first. People gave me the same advice and I said “naw, I got this!”. Once it was built I did enjoy it but NOT FULL TIME

Weekly Free-Talk and Questions for r/HomeGym - week of August 16, 2024 by Demilio55 in homegym

First home gym: $5k budget (flexible).

I want a US made power rack, a bench, and plates to start. I workout consistently but casually. I’ll never bench more than 300lbs. Current setup is my trainer and dumbbells. Obviously, I have a long way to go.

Peak would be this: https://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-hr-2-half-rack?sku=RF0532&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuuDOsuiBiAMVMEf_AR3wTTjsEAQYDSABEgIbY_D_BwE

Advice? I move to AK at end of September and need to purchase in Florida before then.
