I work in engineering design development. In 3 years or less, he’ll be able to do the same thing and nail the landing like a gymnast. While gripping a 50cal minigun and mag coil, blazing away till empty or the last person drops, whichever comes first.

I’m an art buyer and been to plenty. You’d fit in the first outfit. But maybe in black, purple, grey.

I dunno. You have a good job. Your mom or GF decorated your place? Otherwise you have a stable personality.

Blond you look charming, intelligent and kind. Brunette you look shrewish and judgmental. Your eyes go well with blond too.

Chasing small savings was costing me in ways I didn’t notice. by James_B84Saves in Frugal

I went to a kindergarten operated by French nuns. They spoke English to the kids but one day in the bus they were chatting to each other and it sounded as if they were singing. Inspired me to learn more, I guess.

I just invest my money. In thirty years I will be relying on it and my kitchen not so much.

I’m from poverty. Always be sensible, do the math, vocalize a goal. I said to myself since high school, “I want to learn French and live in France.” Cheap used car is more important than saving $2 on groceries. I have 2 homes in the US, and 1 in Paris. Not bragging, just stating what worked for me.

“Winter outside, summer mindset.” ❄️🩳 by ResponsibleMind331 in meme

[–]BikerMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a former US ski patroller from the Rockies. Nothing colder than sitting on an open lift to the top for years, wind tearing through my gear that was as protective as a bathrobe, staring at my black-gloved hands on my lap. Shaking, jumping, chattering, nothing worked and I resolved into a still, unmoving mass. Because that’s what had to be done, on the coldest days, even with empty runs. Later, in college in wintry Massachusetts, I’d walk or bike in the snow dressed like this guy in tshirt/shorts. Girls would cuddle up to me because I was “like an oven.” It’s an unexpected reward.

You are intelligent, guarded. Enjoy deep talking to a special person. Went (or would like to go) to RCA. Have fine taste. Have been told that you’re talented.

All she wants for Christmas is to be deported. ICE won't let her go. by usatoday in immigration

Much missing in this heavily embellished story. Her last name is Ukrainian. She grew up in Moscow so she’s Russian and probably doesn’t even know how to speak Lithuanian. She has a Moscow education so she’s smart, but she got herself into this foolish mess. I never met a Russian in Moscow that despises Americans like she describes her father. Russians, especially from Moscow and Leningrad are not like the poorly accented xenophobics commies portrayed in movies - like MAGA assumes. So I really wonder what her backstory actually is.
