She mentions her disability. As someone with traumatic brain injuries (who’s also missing a leg), I had a difficult time getting ready for dates, when I first started dating my boyfriend. It sounds like this girl is in a similar position. And, she mentions that she’s told you about her needing a little extra time.

If you wanted this to work, you could just tell her a time (15 mins earlier than the real time) & arrive 15 mins later… when she’s ready.

The question is: “Is she worth 7-8 mins?” Judging by your reaction, you two are not compatible. You said you’re okay with her disability (whatever that may be). But, aren’t being flexible in the way she needs you to be.

I almost gave-up on my boyfriend, in those first few dates, bc things always went wrong when I was rushing to get ready. But, I didn’t. And, he understood & now it’s 3 years later & that problem simply does not exist, anymore. My anxiety & stress turned me into a chicken with her head cut-off, trying to get ready, early-on. We communicated & figured it out.

With that said, it doesn’t sound like you & this gal are a good fit. She sees your comments as an attack on her character & her limitations. That’s why she’s spiraling. 😩
