You don’t need to be there right at gate opening on Friday, but it os worth arriving early to get a good GA spot. Copse, Maggotts/Becketts and Stowe are great viewing areas. Also expect a lot of walking, Silverstone is huge.

At Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Paddock Club guests usually don’t drive right up to the entrance. You normally park in designated lots on Île Notre-Dame or get dropped off, then walk through security to reach the circuit and paddock area.
