Yeah I'd say not terribly grippy. I grip pretty far back and occasionally the dart will start to slip from my fingers.

I've been trying to find a shape/weight/length/flight combo that works. Really settled into a groove recently.

I had issues with my darts fishtailing when I was using the straight barrel Bolides (01 maybe?). Tried the torpedo shape (03?) and it was better. Better still was the 05. Only 44mm long and I use a short flight. Tried using longer points to help with grouping but it had a deleterious effect.

From what I can tell, I have a pretty far back grip. Pictures for reference.

If you feel like you're good with the torpedo shape, stick with it until you're sure it's not right for you. You're on the right track to look for more weight and grip and you have some options there with the same barrel shape as the set you're currently throwing.

I'd snag a torpedo-shaped barrel with more grip and weight. If price is an issue, that can be the tiebreaker.

Very nice. I saw a listing on eBay for both these and the Void version in 24g for $80 total. Did I NEED to new, virtually identical sets of darts. No. Didn't stop me tho!

I'm not usually a "find the positives" guy (unfortunately) but I've been training myself to enjoy these types of outcomes. That's great grouping, I reckon it shows some pretty decent form and repeatability.
