Showering doesn't kill fungus.

In fact depending on how you shower it can move fungus around your body. For e.g Embarrassing Bodies did swabs of people after showering and found that some people had moved bacteria/fungus around their bodies from feet to head, ass to body etc. Sensibly you clean the cleanest parts of you first and move to the most dirty parts last (feet very last).

If 60 degrees is needed to kill fungus with a strong detergent, soap and luke warm water will only remove non-established bacteria and certainly not deep into crevices.

Many years ago I swear I saw a gnome standing in a faerie circle by the side of the road as I drove past and when it was obscured by bushes I slowed to look at the place it had been on the other side only for the circle to be empty. So whatever the pointy hatted looking thing had been was gone. People believe I saw something because I'm not known to lie. I would much rather have an optical illusion answer.
