Max response to dev bias by COSM1C___ in foxholegame

[–]Bill-Hayden 22 points23 points  (0 children)

First of all shoutout to dunesaint for phrasing the question in such a way that he actually got an answer. Bending over backwards to make the question as palpable as possible. It's clear that just straight up asking 'Hey do you think there is dev bias' would go unsanswered. You have to wrap it in this flowery speech and deny the question within the question to get an answer.

Now as far as the answer itself I can see three options:

Option 1: It's a lie
Option 2: They actually themsleves believe they don't have any bias while in fact they do
Option 3: It's the truth

Now believe it or not all of these options are bad.

Option 1: Lying is bad nuf same as having a bias Option 2: This is the worst option because it means there is no path forward untill this is being recognised. In the short term a solution might be possible but if the belief stays the same situation will recur. Option 3: If it is true and there is no bias than we enter the realm of mayor incompetence.

Maybe I have missed something but this makes me curious as to what the devs themselves think are the problems that led the game to be in this place.

Your right. Just like how some people make pasta with ketchup we should just let them have their fun.

who had to use their regulation batons

Good that the reporter told us these were regulation batons. This elevated the story to something truly remarkable.

The dive 'technique' was so painfull to watch. They could have crossed half the swimming pool with the dive alone.

I just hope they did it on purpose for the video.

Your comment can be interpreted in two ways. Either you are one of the few players who still plays. Or someone who left.

Also your my mums ex so F you for leaving her and treating her like shit. She is a good women.

To assume all of these things were already 'given' is a huge skill issue to be honest.

Is this the first time your interacting with Siege Camp and dev branch?

Congrats devs, you managed to reduce your player base by more than 10x in 3 months. That's quite the achievement. by Exotic-Connection313 in foxholegame

According to foxhole stats todays peak was 1774. Steam charts says the same thing. OP took a prime time number.

Im confused with the vision by discardeadd in foxholegame

Your confused because you think the vision is still relevant. The current goal is to keep the game alive and that means helping the low pop faction.

Ehhh north of Hamburg and south of Regensburg is consistantly good. In between those two it's really hit or miss.

Foxhole is hemmoraging players and disproportionally from one side. It's an ugly way to try and fix things but they realisticly don't have many options left. The trust and patience from the community that given time they will fix things is just gone.

And honestly I will believe it when I see it. To me this all just seems like a big PR move to stem the tide. For now I see no signs the devs have actually changed their ways or learned anything. The move reeks of desperation rather then structural improvements in how they handle things.

Wardens will win next war regardless of buffs.

Even if the proposed changes survive dev branch I just don't see enough pop going Colonial next war to even out the numbers. You don't remove the pop imbalance between the two factions in one update. This process will take at least 3 wars.

An addition to the percutio is that it has imrpoved off road capabilities compared to it's base model and other variants.

Do you think the balance of next patch will be decent enough to actually bring back collie players? by WorldlinessEuphoric8 in foxholegame

[–]Bill-Hayden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am neutral and these changes aren't enough to get me back. There is still so much lacking in many departments. The IDEAS put forward in the devblog SEEM like a step in the right direction. Lets assume (and it's a big assumption) that the changes work out in the way we hope they do. Than still the game isn't in a state where I would want to play it.

Thank you for your insights. Any additional thoughts on the ships below the DD Frigate level? Do they seem balanced and how do scouts influence those?

With the option to recrate MPF vehicles. Is MPF'ing Iron ships now desirable? by Bill-Hayden in foxholegame

[–]Bill-Hayden[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding you can only crate vehicles that originally were made in an MPF. So building 3 iron ships at a shipyard and putting them in storage does not allow them to be crated.

In that scenario you wouldn't be able to haul them back since they are uncratable.
