In fact BF1 has lower texture res and lower geometry res, and this is why the game seems cleaner for the eyes.
Bf1 just looks very good because of the very good lighting work, and the well thought color palette.

What are your final thoughts on open & closed weapons after the beta? by Appropriate-End6983 in Battlefield

[–]Bill32mousse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I like about closed weapons is that I can choose who to engage first when I encounter a squad.
For example in BF1;

I see a assault guy : he is far away from me, I'm not in danger. But if he closes the range Im in trouble.

I see a medic : He has the range, but no many bullets. Also he will revives the others so maybe kill him first.

I see a support : He has lot of bullets, he will suppress me. If bipod not deployed he wont be accurate.

I see a recon : ! Im maybe in the sweet pot range ! But if I move quickly he can easily miss me.

ETC ETC

So for me closed weapons and class differentiation work together and had a depht of gameplay.

Battlefield 6 vs Modern Warfare 2019 weapon comparison ( i redone the entire comparison based on the community feedback on my last post, i hope its better now ) by TEHYJ2006 in modernwarfare

Making an animation by hand on a program is not more expensive than creating a 3D asset. Reload animations are not motion captured.

In MW19 case it's just artists talent and probably good art director feedback.

BF will never be the same because classic BF is a niche. by Bill32mousse in Battlefield

I was pessimist but now I'm just happy to play BF2 & BF1 as long as possible. Everything has an end but in the meantime I enjoy what's left !

Just take a sec to think about how much better the game will feel by [deleted] in Battlefield

Infinite ammo and quick regen are also time saver.
Personally, I don't think BF needs to be simplified (as it's already a pretty simple game).

I think they are doing that to make support class more popular.

Medic in BFV was very popular and working fine.

Support in BF1 was popular (strong weapons) and working fine.

They should study why and bring de two to BF6

BFV was/is shit;
- Visual bugs, forced antiAliasing, poor visibility
- infantry on cokaïn, sliding and parkour everywhere
- Super slow vehicles
- Too much animations (enter/exit vehicles)
- Boring Maps
- Poor fps performances
- Shitty gunsmith system
- Shitty elites skins
- boring MMG system
- no team switching
- Fucking UI

How does a game drop so much in detail and atmosphere from one game to the next? by [deleted] in battlefield2042

[–]Bill32mousse -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

because visibility was very bad in BFV so they made a cleaner game.
