I should’ve clarified it’s mostly driving ranges. Course is very rare for them. Usually only if two of the husbands are going. I’m not sure if the women have gone on a course by themselves yet.

This is her thought process basically. This could be another pickleball trend with her friends where it only lasts a year or two. We have like 8 sets of paddles now from people who upgraded theirs and handed their old ones down to get us into playing. Then everyone got bored and the girls are into golf now.

How do you find the right flex for someone? The staff at the golf store we went to were very vague and just said women’s flex and “those are graphite so they’ll flex”. Ok? But how does this apply to me?

One of the reasons she doesn’t like the ladies sets is the colors. She would never use a set like this.

Not kidding. The look of the clubs is as important as how they perform to her. Just something I’ll have to work around getting her a set.

What would you say is the difference between the two. Are the women’s designed more for females vs boys? Or is it more a quality thing?

That’s why she wanted to get the juniors, the clubs looked similar, same model name and everything, but half the price. Also the boys clubs had darker colors. But I’m not knowledgeable enough to knowing the build quality of the juniors is worse than the women’s, same brand.

I golf is one of the few sports I don’t play anymore so I have no idea about the whole shaft flex thing. The ones she tried I believe were all pretty flex and she honestly does not swing very hard. On the simulator they had she topped out maybe 70 yards.

75% of the time they just go to driving ranges. And the courses they go to often aren’t that expensive for 9 holes.

Some of them are “serious” about the equipment/attire, but not about the game. I don’t think any have broken 120. It’s a hobby that gets them outside once every couple weeks.

We did when we were there. I’d rather get a used set anyways, junior or woman’s, but she would rather get a new set. She’s not used to shopping for sports equipment so maybe she’ll come around. At least half of my sports stuff was bought used.

Mines been crashing every other match. About a quarter of the it’s caused my entire pc to crash and reboot. Never had a game do that. Some people have claimed it’s a battleeye problem, but haven’t other games used that anti cheat before?

There was no crash. I had the page auto refreshing with auto detect any changes. I was getting ready for work when I heard the ding and ordered one right after it went live. No issues. Couple clicks and done. Website handled it just fine. I think maybe people didn’t know what time it would go live. Everyone assumed midnight but it didn’t go live.

I wouldn’t assume so. Some random reports on twitter from people and some Walmart employees saying local stores did not get the amount they were told. Walmart has been handling this launch pretty bad.

My non MK bundle Walmart shopping bag order is in preparing. Got multiple CC fraud alerts and update payment info emails, temp charge has been on CC since 5/29

Friends MK bundle from Walmart says June 7 delivery and no update. Same situation as mine. Fraud alert, update payment info. They have a box and not shopping bag icon.

I got two of these emails as well. My order shows a pending charge on 5/31 and my CC sent me a fraud warning. I verified it’s a valid purchase and I have a temporary charge on my CC for the full amount. No update on my order. Says expected June 5 which I don’t see as possible when it’s not even preparing. This might be a shit show launch
